The communication with this company was horrible. Also their customer service was subpar and we were told different things and the manager was supposed to get back to us but still have not received a call even after the installation. They also left without installing the garage door opener, said they would comeback but it took them over a week to return and that was after I complained

One of our 20-year-old garage door cables broke after routine maintenance. I called the garage door service provider we had been using for the majority of those 20 years, to come out and fix it. The person answering the phone said they cannot come out until the next day. If they were that busy one might think they would try to prioritize jobs by asking if the door was working or not... but they didnt. Any way I scheduled with them and then made a call to Precision Garage Door to see if they could be out the same day. They said absolutely, the tech was out within 2 hours of my phone call. Pat diagnosed the problem right away; he went over options for new garage doors we ended up with a temporary fix to the one door and ordering two new garage doors to be installed Precision Garage Doors. Garage door problems are not planned events making sure you have a reliable team of people who can help you out is important to getting you back on track. I would recommend you call Precision Garage Door for your general service and Garage Door replacement needs!

One of our garage doors had a lift cable break on a Monday morning. I called Precision Door at 12:30 PM and the pleasant scheduler told me a technician named Chad would be out between 2 and 6 that afternoon. Chad called at 1:40 to tell us that he would be there by 2. He arrived right on time and quickly assessed the problem. I also asked him about replacing the failing bottom door seals on both doors, and to do some preventive parts replacement on the other door so we wouldn't have another problem this winter. Five minutes later Chad gave me two estimates, one to fix the original problem, and another that covered the additional work I requested. The estimates were laid out so that I could opt in or out of each element of the work. He had all the parts necessary to do both doors with him on his truck and was finished with everything by 3:30. Now the doors on our attached garage operate so quietly that we can no longer hear them going up and down from inside the house. The work appears to be very well done and is guaranteed for three years. I would definitely recommend using Precision Door.

Overall, we had a great experience. Ended up doing more work ( needed anyway soon) based off what info/ recommendations were given, but never under any pressure. Decided on our own as parts were going out. Communication/ updates/ arrival all on point. Alex is a great technician. He was fantastic with the process and follow up questions/ learning we had. Our garage door cables broke (of course) the day before Thanksgiving. After getting back in town I thought the fix would be easy. Of course not. Called your company on Saturday to get someone out. To my surprise they were able to come out on Sunday! Made an appointment for 10 am. The guy was in and out in an hour. The door was all fixed! Only four stars for two reasons. He showed up at around 8:30 am. The other being a few nuts were not tightened on the brackets. Not a big deal but still...

I called them explained my issue with my garage door opener, they sent a tech out within the hour. He explained what he would do to try to resolve the problem. I opted to have it replaced as my unit was over 20 years old. Bryce (my technician) installed the new unit, made sure it functioned and explained all the instructions of the very updated unit. I would recommend them!
