Precision Garage Door did a fantastic job fixing our broken garage door and updating our other door while they were here. We had an issue where our cable broke on our single stall on a Sunday afternoon. They could have fixed it that day, but I waited until Monday to have them come out. They were available right away to help us. The technician, Pat, was very friendly and helpful in explaining the process and the options. Once I decided to update the cables, springs, and rollers on our broken door (and update a few rusty rollers on our other door just in case), Pat had all the parts available on his truck and finished the job on the spot. I would recommend Precision based on responsiveness, communication, and quality of work. They really came through for us!

Very personable, professional and straight forward, he clarified my concerns and then did an assessment of my system. I called today for help with getting our garage door remotes reprogrammed and for repairs to one of our garage doors. Precision was able to get a technician out the very same day! The technician, Shawn, completed an inspection of both garage doors and gave me a very thorough report of problems noted and also a very thorough estimate of all of the recommended work, broken down into several options so that I could choose what to proceed with now and what could be deferred. The estimate was very reasonable! Shawn was knowledgeable, efficient, and very personable, and got the job done in less than 2 hours. Our garage door is working properly, our remotes work, and we are happy campers. The entire experience with Precision was a positive one, and I will definitely use them again soon. We needed a quick response since we couldn’t get either of our vehicles out of the garage with a broken spring on the one side. Honestly, We did call A1 Garage Door first but they couldn’t come out for 5 days! Seriously? So glad we made that second call! The initial call to Precision was professional, friendly and efficient. The technician was to our home within a 1.5 hr. The inspection and estimating process was very detailed with precise pictures and documentation. Our technician, Noah, was excellent and completed our job within a couple of hours. Now, you can shop around and get better cost on the parts BUT, the speed that Precision takes care of customers, the quality of the installation, and a three year warranty was well worth the price paid and the convenience of being able to use the door within a few hours. We would highly recommend.

In a time when it seems to be increasingly difficult to find reputable companies with fair pricing and knowledgeable, dependable employees, this company was a breath of fresh air. I will also add that based on my recent experience with an appliance repairman I found on Thumbtack, I would avoid any contact with Thumbtack as I don't think they do any vetting whatsoever of companies they recommend, and you're likely to get badly burned.
