A spring broke on our 35 year old door. Not an emergency so scheduled service a few days out. Great communication by Precision, call from our tech Pat B. Poor to his arrival. Courteous fellow and knowledgeable and skilled. We decided to update/replace sme worn rollers, and Pat identified a rusted frozen bearing. Pat really did care about his work, you'd be pleased to see him! Good work doesn't come cheap, and we now have a nearly silent, properly operating door. From 35 years old to basically new. I called your company, honestly, because they were the first ones on the list of repair shops most to me. Your representative showed up quickly was professional and pleasant He provided me with a complete quotation on what it would take to completely rebuild my garage doors, when my call was to get my one door back up and running because of a broken cable. The one thing he did NOT do was solve my problem. When my issue was a broken $10 cable I was offered a $2100 solution to a lifetime warranty replacement of all hardware, and an additional quote for $7000+ to replace the for all my doors. It was a shameless upsell and left me where I was when I called except for the $49 service fee. I am left with no alternative that to call a competitor to get my one door up and running, and then others for a quote to bring my doors into a like new state. Your company will not be on the list of those who are offered a chance to do those repairs.

My tech, Gregg Traylor, arrived ahead of the scheduled appointment window. He was highly professional. He completed a thorough examination of the door opener and took photos. Gregg gave a complete explanation of his findings and suggested remedies. The installation of a new opener was required. He started the work immediately and completed the installation in about 90 minutes. I didn't pay the invoice until he had reviewed the installation and answered all questions to my satisfaction. I was very happy with the completed work. Gregg's pleasant personality was a bonus.

They replaced one spring 2021 and for $260 now they say its $380 and blame the increase on "COVID". He said that was pre-COVID well actually 2021 was not Pre-COVID that would have been 2019 or before. Asked for a detailed quote of labor and parts and they basically refused so I called another garage door company and they were able yo provide the quote over the phone. It's a spring just isn't that complicated. Why you would deliberately obscuring the prices is unprofessional and shouts "we are going to overcharge you".

Greg did an OUTSTANDING JOB! He explained exactly what the issue was with the door. The door Greg worked on has been installed for 31 years and the opener and bearings are shot, he did what he could for us under the noisy door deal Precision is offering and we informed him that we plan on replacing both doors in the summer of 2026. He gave us a brochure today and my wife has already decided on what she is planning to purchase in July of 2026.
