We had a broken torsion spring. I called 4 different places and Precision was the only one that said they could come out that afternoon between noon and 4:00. They ended up calling and arriving early at 11:00. Technician was very professional and experienced. He took pictures of all areas of concern. He got the door open, I got the cars out safely. In addition to yhe torsion springs, he recommended new center and outer bearings along with new rollers. Things went very smoothly and door is operating great. The only negative comment is the cost of parts and service. Seemed extremely high, but they did get out to repair same day, in the morning. All parts do have a lifetime warranty, with only labor charges if anything they installed fails. Thanks for the fast professional service!

The only thing I would change is to have a more precise window of time for arriving. I happened to be home but could have easily missed them while dropping off my daughter at school. The crew was also playing music a bit loudly. It wasn’t excessive and I didn’t mind it, but I wondered if my neighbors might and had to ask during a video meeting whether the person on the meeting could hear it. They couldn’t so I didn’t say anything. The guys were great though and gave some super helpful advice on maintenance and something to help with the gap under part of the door since our floor has sunk and is not level.

Pat showed up on time and explained / showed me what was wrong and what was needed to repair our garage door. He worked diligently and completed all tasks in a reasonable amount of time. I do believe the cost is about 30 to 40 percent higher than it needs to be.

I’m sure the techs are trained to upsell, but it was an obvious ploy to try and get a customer to commit to a much more expensive service using subtle scare tactics.

Chuck was business like and very nice. He presented my options and gave me a review of my situation. I did not ask for an estimate of charges before a temporary fix as I needed help, was glad to have a reputable service man here and felt confident that he would fix the immediate problem. The price was, I think reasonable, but more than I expected. I now have a garage door that works well with a 1 year warranty. I could not open my collapsed door so I am very pleased with the timeliness of service. Thank you Chuck.

I really appreciate how fast a technician came out to fix my garage door after I called for help! After he replaced the old parts on the one side and it was so quiet and running smoothly I had him fix the other door. I did have to have him come back the next day though because I was charged for parts that he forgot to change out on the 2nd door that the 1st door didn't need.

The worker arrived shortly after 8am Saturday after scheduling the night before for an emergency garage repair. The worker was professional. The person who took down my information for scheduling had my name and address wrong, so I had to call to fix that and get my receipt. Issue resolved by Monday.

Had new springs installed. Communication was great - I was given a heads up when the technician was on his way. He arrived on time and quickly installed the springs. He did have a little trouble getting my 'old' opener to work correctly, but now my door works better than ever! It's only been one day, but so far the workmanship appears to be excellent. My only complaint was the cost, which I thought was exorbitant. I don't know for sure if the cost is comparable with other companies, I didn't have time to shop around. I did call one other company, but the woman who answered the phone could barely speak English so I hung up on her - Buy American! Overall Precision did a great job!

Bret was very friendly and helpful. He inspected our door and provided a number of different options to improve the performance of our door. There was zero pressure to spend additional money, just helpful information. After he left, we noticed an issue that was missed by both Bret and me. I've had good experience with this company, but the last technician ruined it for me. I won't be using their service anymore.. their technician showed up and was adamant on selling me a new garage door, after he failed to sell me one he was adamant about selling me a new garage opener.. I told him I bought a Chamberlain garage opener and it's sitting by the corner how much would it cost for him to install that? He said we don't install Store-Bought garage opener and for me to hire a handyman to do that .. I order a garage tune-up he showed up without lubricant, he saw my WD-40 and asked if he could use it and I said go for it.. He used it on the garage and use his foot to kick my garage sensors around charge me $155 and left... The last technician brought lubricant lubed my entire garage door down did a full safety inspection adjusted my sensors recalibrated my garage opener. He spent a little over an hour.. I was very pleased. But this new technician just ruined it for me.

Scheduled me right away. They got to my house within 20 min or so. Fixed the problem and filled out estimate for more work that will need to be addressed. Unfortunately I've not been able to get copies of my invoice or the estimate. Still waiting!
