We bought our house a few years ago, and we definitely noticed that our garage door motor and the parts along with it were very very old. Today, one of the springs broke and I chose Precision Garage Door Twin Cities because of their ability to book online, and they had availability day of! After booking my appointment, I was contacted by one of their technicians, Adam, and was able to let him know what happened and how we would also want a new garage door opener as well as the spring repair, and he was out at our house in a very timely manner. He looked at what the issue was and provided multiple quotes for the work that was needed to be done with replacing springs/bearings/cables/rollers, and explained it all to me so that I understood. He got right to work and finished within an hour and a half. I was amazed with the quality of work and our new garage door opener! It made this process stress free and now we have a quiet, up to date and reliable garage door!

Therefore, purchased a new Lift Master garage door opener, which the technician, Adam, installed in less than 1 hour. Our spring broke this morning and Adam had it fixed by mid afternoon. He was very personable and competetent. He changed cables under our warranty but also told me it was the wrong size springs installed by a previous company that caused the cables to deteriorate early. First I’ll say that everyone I spoke with to inquire for a garage door spring repair were all very friendly. Adam the technician who came to my home was very friendly and very detailed with giving me the overview of his findings for the repair, which I found helpful. However the price I was quoted was almost twice that of other companies I had spoken with, felt he was trying to upsell me on other items (new ballbearing and rollers) that weren’t really necessary. I decided not to go with this company so can’t truly rate their product/service. They may have superior products, I really can’t say since I didn’t use their service, but their cost was substantially higher than others.

Went above and beyond the call of duty. Arrived early which was nice and got the job done real quick. I was impressed. Also, very pleased with the way the company operates, sending a picture of the service technician so I know who to expect. I originally called your company for two reasons. 1) to get a small issue fixed and, 2) to continue my search for a better garage door repair company. The small but irritating issue was resolved quickly. I was then informed of two preventive maintenance or upgrades that he could do immediately that no other company, out of the many I have tried, ever suggested. I didn't hesitate to go ahead with those. It is good to finally see that someone has taken the garage door repair business seriously.
