One of our 20-year-old garage door cables broke after routine maintenance. I called the garage door service provider we had been using for the majority of those 20 years, to come out and fix it. The person answering the phone said they cannot come out until the next day. If they were that busy one might think they would try to prioritize jobs by asking if the door was working or not... but they didnt. Any way I scheduled with them and then made a call to Precision Garage Door to see if they could be out the same day. They said absolutely, the tech was out within 2 hours of my phone call. Pat diagnosed the problem right away; he went over options for new garage doors we ended up with a temporary fix to the one door and ordering two new garage doors to be installed Precision Garage Doors. Garage door problems are not planned events making sure you have a reliable team of people who can help you out is important to getting you back on track. I would recommend you call Precision Garage Door for your general service and Garage Door replacement needs!

My garage door wouldn’t go up without a bit of a nudge- from previous experience we knew that it was a coil or spring that needed to be tightened or perhaps the bearings needed to be oiled. After a 25 point Safety inspection and $45 later I was told we had a $17-$1900 repair. Haven’t seen a high pressured sales pitch that was so suave and fraudulent for a long time. Good thing common sense took over!

Precision Garage Door did a fantastic job fixing our broken garage door and updating our other door while they were here. We had an issue where our cable broke on our single stall on a Sunday afternoon. They could have fixed it that day, but I waited until Monday to have them come out. They were available right away to help us. The technician, Pat, was very friendly and helpful in explaining the process and the options. Once I decided to update the cables, springs, and rollers on our broken door (and update a few rusty rollers on our other door just in case), Pat had all the parts available on his truck and finished the job on the spot. I would recommend Precision based on responsiveness, communication, and quality of work. They really came through for us!

Arrived on time and ready to repair my garage door. It took no more than 10 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem. Spent more time talking to me about how to maintain the door, the reason for the fix and what not to do. Excellent service. As a well informed DIYer I would not have thought the fix applied would correct the problem. It was all "physics"! The technician showed me how and why he made the fix using the software in the "Opener control panel". I really appreciated his sharing that knowledge with me. Thank You Precision Garage Door.

Had a very costly repair after the cable snapped. But unfortunately, a couple of days after the door either jerks in partly opens/closes and few times just snaps off of the opener track that I have to use the emergency opening string to snap it back. The gentleman came in the following morning and said there is more to the repair with sensors etc. which he said he did not touch. Sensors are in the vertical tracks which got replaced so not sure how they were not touched. Either way, the primary problem is with the unsnapping of the pull up unit. Very frustrating that I have to get home to open the door for my family.

The large spring on our garage door broke. Precision was able to come the next afternoon and fix it. The two service men were very polite and professional.
