I called and set up appointment to replace a broken spring. After the service person said hello, he said I see you are looking to replace your garage doors. I advised him all I wanted was to have the spring replaced. The person who took my appointment quoted $250 to $300 for the replacement of the spring on one door. Since they were coming out I also wanted the spring replaced on the other door. So $500 to $600 for the job. When the service person was done reviewing the doors he said the price with military discount for all of the things that needed to be done was $3,995. My door has only one spring. He said doors need two springs to be safe. Wow, single doors only need one spring and the other items he said I needed did not need to be replaced. I have been in the garage door industry for 40 years and this is the worst transaction I have ever seen!

We were honestly left with more questions than answers. They left, the garage door still didn’t work and they charged us $300. Didn’t take anything off until I asked. All they attempted to do was sell us a new garage door and opener. Pretty disappointed

Precision Garage Door Twin Cities replaced the springs for our garage door a few years ago. When the 20-year-old opener failed recently we called on them again. It was very easy to make a convenient appointment for the next day. The technician, Chad, was personable, professional, and experienced. He installed a new opener, controller, key pad and safety sensors. The quality of his work is a definite improvement compared to the previous installation. He also adjusted the torsion of the coil springs to provide smoother operation.

Caden and his partner were very prompt, courteous, and professional. He sent a message introducing himself, and let me know when he would arrive. He explained everything they were going to do and the amount of time it would take. When complete, we went through the operation and maintenance. Asked if I had questions and said if anything came up please give them a call. I am happy we chose Precision door and would highly recommend them.

Have had Precision do work several years ago and they were fantastic. When the opener started acting strange we had them out again. I explained the problem and he didn't even have to look before he knew what it was and when we looked it was certainly the problem. It has also impacted several other areas and we are choosing to have them repaired now before we face multiple times of having smaller problems fixed. They are able to do the full repair one day from now and gave us a reasonable cost estimate with excellent warranties. Person who did inspection was fantastic, took pictures to show us issues, explained the issue and how it impacted our door issues, and explained what could be done now and what could wait. We chose the immediate repair of the issues because we did not want it to impact a motor issue in the future. This company is excellent and extremely reliable.

Shawn Solberg arrived on time. I had my garage door replaced about 11 months ago. The bearing was making a loud banging noise when closing. This was very unusual but Shawn was persistent. He got it fixed. Works great. The best part was it was covered under warranty. No hassle. Thanks Precision!

Installer Brock came out and did a thorough inspection and gave me an estimate where he clearly explained what needed to be done. He fixed our problem quickly, and there was a lot of work to be done! Was completely impressed when I arrived home at how everything now worked smoothly. I highly recommend Precision! They fixed the tracks, springs and coils, and replaced the faulty opener.

I at first wanted an estimate just to replace the bottom panel on my garage, but after consultation with my family I wanted an entire new door. Easy to get an appointment for Precision and for a tech to come out and "see" my current door; met my time needs/schedule. Nate Sanford came to review what I needed and what I wanted. He went over ALL points about the garage door I had and the difference between that and how a new door would be. He took a lot of measurements and pictures. I feel he did a real all in job! I got 2 estimates; one on a door similar to mine with insulation and the other with more. I asked for and "got" a Senior discount and I also had a coupon for purchasing a door from Precision. I needed to consider any purchase I would make so Nate left me a brochure and his card. I finally signed on with Precision and my door will be here in late June or early July!! I contacted two other TV well known companies and they did come out and measured but later I contacted them and informed them I did indeed want to go with an entire door; they did NOT follow through and never gave me any hand held information for me to review. I was not sure they wanted my business. I called Nate a few times after he gave me a bid and he answered all my questions. I believe that precision Garage Door and its staff are response to the needs of customers they serve and I look forward to getting my garage door from this company!!

My old garage door opener broke and could not be repaired, because it was too old and no replacement parts were available. Therefore, purchased a new Lift Master garage door opener, which the technician, Adam, installed in less than 1 hour. I called for service at 3:00, and by 4:00 Adam was at our house diagnosing the problem. Friendly, fast service. I highly recommend them.
