I called yesterday with a broken, rotational torsion spring, when my garage door would only open an inch. After calling many of the other local businesses, only Precision Garage Door could make it out here today (all the others were a month out). The communication (prior, during, and after) was flawless, consistent, and timely. I spent the afternoon having direct conversation with the Technician (so I could understand what he was doing), and it never slowed him down. He fixed and then "pre-rigged" the door, and then checked to see the results. Being that I have a 1965 house, many of the issues that caused the original problems were due to the foundation having shifted over the years. He realized the problems and rigged it precisely so the door could be opened, and closed, with only finger-pressure - zero gap underneath. I am a 50+ year mechanic myself and can fix anything in/on the household or vehicles that I have, but I do not want to deal with garage door springs. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the Technician and the end result. I would imagine that the Technician that came here, is just one of many that this Company employs. Brian did a great job coming out and replacing the spring that broke. He went through and explained everything in detail and inspected and gave me recommendations on other things that are in need of repair and why the repairs needed to be done. A garage door isn’t something you think about doing maintenance until it’s too late. Thanks Brian for the great information and i will be calling when I have the time to get the other work done.

The repairman, Jonathan Zwart, was so wonderful!! Not only did he assess the problem thoroughly before offering me an estimated cost to repair, but he listed additional options to improve the performance of my garage door opener. Jonathan also explained the security features available on the newer openers for when the time comes to replace my older model garage door opener. Precision provides a 2 hour window for arrival and Jonathan was right on time, here at 8 AM so I could get the repair and get on with my own schedule. I have had other repairs, plumbers and carpentry, recently and I experienced price gouging and pricing surprises. I did not experience any of that with Precision. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door and their technician Jonathan Zwart.

My HOA required a door replacement. From the estimate appointment to the installation I was very pleased with my experience. The estimate was very clearly explained and he was very thorough. While it took a few weeks for the door to arrive the appointment for install was scheduled immediately. The technician (Donny) who completed the final installation did a great job. Everything (including future maintenance) was clearly explained and he did a very professional job. I would highly recommend Precision for any of your garage door related needs.

I called on a Friday morning to have a technician come and look at my garage door opener, by 10 am they had someone out at my house assessing the issue. Broken garage door spring discovered when we tried to leave home about 8 p.m. Searched internet for repair companies. Called and was told a technician was available between 10:00 and 12:00 the next day. Made the appointment and received a call about 10:30 from Troy who said he would be at my house within 10 minutes. Troy confirmed the broken spring and a few of the rollers were in need of replacement. He prepared an estimate of work he felt was appropriate and explained why. He showed me the cost of each item and the total cost of the job. He worked efficiently and was done within 1.5 hours. He gave me the opportunity to review the work and answered my questions. Recommend Troy highly.

When I learn our two cars are trapped in the garage at 7:30 on a Sunday morning, I have very little hope of much getting done till Monday or later. I tried Google anyway. Found Precision. Tech called to tell us he was available early, wanted to verify it was OK to arrive early. Listened to me explain the problem (opener was reversing after starting to close), then did a check on all aspects of the opener and the door. Presented us with a list of recommendations and costs. We decided to decline his recommendation to replace the rollers, and there was no pressure or push-back from him. He replaced the sensors, including moving the mounts from the rails to the garage door frame, lubed the hinges and replaced a broken hinge we hadn't noticed. The work was completed efficiently, at a price that was lower than we expected. We are satisfied customers, and would recommend without hesitation.
