I have used Precision three times now for garage issues. It’s not cheap but what is nowadays. I don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off when I deal with them. They give you kind of a “good, better, best” quote and you just choose the level of repairs you want. I had a guy named Adam come out, very friendly and professional. He broke down all the work and answered a bunch of questions I had about other fixes I was thinking about. I would have given him a tip but I didn’t have cash, just some tomatoes I had just picked so if Precision sees this let him know, I got some tomatoes if he wants them. Otherwise they have always done the job for me, quick service, the work is great, they hire good people. As long as they are fixing garage doors that’s who I will be calling to fix mine.

Aaron was great. These are the positives: Communication, timeliness, accurate quote, options presented, willingness to explain process to myself and then later my husband. I ended up purchasing multiple items for my broken double door garage, and although spendy, there is a lifetime guarantee- so felt it was worth it.

I called and set up appointment to replace a broken spring. After the service person said hello, he said I see you are looking to replace your garage doors. I advised him all I wanted was to have the spring replaced. The person who took my appointment quoted $250 to $300 for the replacement of the spring on one door. Since they were coming out I also wanted the spring replaced on the other door. So $500 to $600 for the job. When the service person was done reviewing the doors he said the price with military discount for all of the things that needed to be done was $3,995. My door has only one spring. He said doors need two springs to be safe. Wow, single doors only need one spring and the other items he said I needed did not need to be replaced. I have been in the garage door industry for 40 years and this is the worst transaction I have ever seen!

Nobody ever wants to replace a garage door - you just want it to work. But when it doesn't, call Precision. A tech came out on Memorial Day, helped me get the door open so we could get cars out, and got us a quote and a next day appointment for new opener, rails, springs, cables - basically everything except the door itself. Their parts have a lifetime warranty, transferrable upon sale of the house. I've used a few other garage door services in the past, but I'm done with that now. When my other garage door needs attention, the first and only call I'll make is to Precision.

Came out at the appointed time. Did a complete inspection. Technicians were well informed and not pushy. Ended up being more than a broken spring that was in need of repair on those old garage doors. But they gave a fair estimate. I didn't do everything that was recommended, but I did the critical fail stuff. They talked with my husband before they started so he was OK with the higher price for all the things that needed to be done. Completed on time and on budget. The doors will probably now outlast our living in this house. The lifetime guarantee (while we own the house) was a good investment too in my mind. Happy to do business with this place.

Adam did a wonderful service call, I thought the prices for new springs cost and installation was overpriced, but I wanted the lifetime warranty. Reason for initial service call my end bearing plates needed replacing. For spring cost and replacement at $390.00 per spring I thought was a little excessive. Considering Mills Fleet Farm was $83.00 per spring. But I wanted the lifetime warranty.
