We had two new garage doors installed 9 months ago by Precision and they were getting noisy during normal cycling. I set up an appointment. They showed up on time and found the problem quite quickly. Apparently you should oil everything at least every 6 months, not just once a year. I also found out that you need to use a non silicon spray. Precision technicians really know their products well and do a great job at very reasonable prices.

Our house is a new build and new builds notoriously use inexpensive, not so long lasting products, and these 2 gentlemen helped us figure out the best option for our needs. The guy was nice and gave me plenty of details about my garage door. But the prices were not good. Way overpriced! And he told me the total would be $300 but it was over $350. He quoted me over $1300 to replace my springs too! I will not be recommending this company to anyone because of the highly inflated prices. Even when I called a few companies afterwards, they told me those prices sounded really high.

Very happy with the service from Precision. Received one day service for our functioning door. We needed a new weather strip and a general tune up. Pat explained the issues and options to correct the problems. Pat replaced cables,springs,bottom brackets,rollers and the damaged weather stripping. Strives was quick and fairly priced. During the cold snap this Winter our garage door overhead unit needed some attention. So I got ahold of Tyler and he was able to come out to take a look. Upon his advice of our opener and garage being near 25yrs old and on their last legs we ended up getting brand new everything with lifetime warranty! (Sales people gotta sale!) I must say when you have old stuff and use it until it’s dead getting brand new feels so so good! Dustin did the install, and was a one man show because of some call outs. Everything went smoothly and he kept plugging along until the job was done! The motor on this unit is so quiet and satisfying to open/shut that I am not worried about it waking the baby anymore! The track is so smooth and sturdy enough to do some pull-ups on! And you can’t go wrong with that black color door! Quite the standout. So all in all what was supposed to be an easy, non-expensive fix ended up costing us a bit but totally worth it in the long run. Fist bump to my wife for pulling the trigger. Thanks boys!

Precision Garage Door Service is the best! We purchased our garage door years ago and it came with a lifetime warranty. I was skeptical of this warranty, but thought I would take a chance. I’m so glad I did! Due to the weight of the door, the spring has broken a few times and they come out right away to fix it. It is easy to make appointments online. Mike is amazing; he has been out the last two times and is so friendly and knowledgeable. He really looks out for the customer, as does Precision! Today, there were repairs done under the warranty that were not necessary needed right now, but Mike called and said why wait for it to break when we can fix it now. They agreed and approved the repairs!

Disappointed in my appointment today especially since Garage Logic highly recommends Precision Garage Door. I noted online, during reserving the service call, that I had a broken spring and the cost presented for the repair was 3 times higher than another reputable garage repair company. When I said I didn’t want the repair I was charged $85 for a service call to tell me my spring was broke which I noted in my online reservation and he tried to upsell me on a new door. To top it off, the technician was on his phone for half the time he was here. I would not recommend Precision Garage Door.

A few years ago, I had this company install my garage door, and everything seemed fine until yesterday when the spring broke. I called them, and they sent out a tech named Patrick R. To put it mildly, he was a bit... dramatic. When I brought up that the door they installed just two years ago wasn’t being repaired, he got noticeably annoyed, and then actually stomped out of my house like a kid who didn’t get his way. It was unexpected, to say the least. I’d suggest shopping around—you’ll likely find better prices and, hopefully, techs who handle things with a bit more maturity.
