Sticker shock... single 9' door...20+ yr old... the price quoted, was $100. Less than a : double-insulated with decorative hardware and windows At another location! (purchased 5 yrs ago.) Ouch. I know everything has gone up, but double??? Nice salesman tho- knowledgeable and comfortable to talk to

Mike was on time (early actually) he diagnosed the problem with my 23 year old garage door opener...it was toast, gears sprocket and chain totally worn out. Now I've got a new unit that I can open and close from anywhere with my phone. Evan has a camera. Belt drive, whisper quiet compared to the old one. wWasn't cheap but what is these days. Mike was fabulous. He was prompt and listened to me explaining what was happening with the opening and closing of my garage door. We had spoken on the phone, and I had told him the issues. He asked if I had a green light and I mentioned no, just a yellow light. So, he told me to check and see if I could get a green light and if I did to call and cancel the appointment. I did green a green light but only when I played with the cord. So, I explained that to him when he arrived. Due to an electrical issue, I still wanted him to look at it and fix it if needed. He promptly got busy and had it fixed in no time. I was happy with what he did to get it fixed. Thank you, Mike, for the outstanding job.

We had the whole set up replaced in 2020. Called to see if there was a warranty on it. I was told yes it's covered but there will be a $49 trip charge. That's ok. But I did not see where it said covered. So I called back to confirm it was in fact covered under warranty, and again they said it's. I said I am not prepared to pay anything besides the trip charge. They said oh yes it is. I asked my mom to look at the invoice from 2020 and she did not see it was covered either. So she, for a third time now, called to confirm this. And for the third time it was "covered". When the tech got here, no it was not. He said the $49 is of we did not want the work done, even though he had to leave to get the parts to fix it. That was another hour of time. But it would be $611. He said, maybe they misread the invoice. That means 3 people in their call center misread it. Seems the only goal is to get the appointment booked and get the tech out to the house. I don't like how they conducted business. The work was fine. Be careful when you schedule.

Everything that Precision Garage Door stated would happen did just like they had said. Our product arrived, their office called to get us on the schedule, the technician called on the way, they installed (2) garage doors and an opener, then showed my wife how to download an app to be able to control and see the garage door position no matter where we are. Our final invoice came in cheaper than our quote, we would recommend Precision Garage Door in Western Wisconsin for all your garage door needs!

On Sunday April 7, 2024, the torsion spring for our main garage door had broken and I needed to get the garage door fixed so my wife could get to work on Monday. I checked for any services available to make the repair. I found Precsion Door had several 5-star ratings and I decided to call them, figuring that it would not be until Monday the phone would be answered. To my surprise, someone answered, and I explained my situation. The receptionist stated that they would have someone come out on a Sunday. I then asked if this was considered an emergency call, I was told no it was a regular workday for them. Shortly after I booked the repair with Precsion Door, I received an email message stating that Gregg Traylor would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. I received a phone call from Gregg stating that he was done early with his current appointment early and was on his way to our residence. Gregg arrived at 1:00 pm, he promptly looked over what all was wrong with the garage door other than the torsion spring. He pointed out several items that should be serviced but told me I could do only the torsion spring replacement today. I chose only to replace the torsion spring. Once the work was completed, Gregg explained to me when the garage door was originally installed the torsion spring installed was rated for 300 pounds and the door actually should have had a torsion spring for 350 pounds. He installed the correct spring. Throughout the entire process, Gregg was extremely professional and friendly taking all the time to explain what he had observed that needed to be serviced at some point. He also emailed pictures of things he observed so I can decide when to do these things. Precsion Door’s prices were not out of line, and I would consider using them again for my garage door services!
