Technician was nice and all, but was told right off the bat they couldn’t fix or determine what was wrong with my opener, as they don’t work on the brand I have. Maybe somewhere on the website list the brands you don’t work on to save people time and money. The website makes it sound like all known brands can be fixed. Also the price point is extremely high. If you’re looking to drop a few grand then maybe this is your place. I was looking for a quick few hundred dollar fix. All mine was doing was beeping and I ended up fixing it myself after he left. $1400+ just for a new opener? The cheapest being $1200? More affordable options would have been nice. $155 to spray the hinges..I used my $79 coupon for that, just to make it worth my time. Otherwise I would have paid him to come here and got nothing out of it.

Technician came out to our residence for an inspection of our bottom seals. I had tried to replace myself but could not find the part in any of the local big box stores. He found that they did not carry it in stock but called back to the shop and had it ordered. It came in in under a week and was installed yesterday ! This will keep all the critters out of the garage finally !

Our service person was very helpful in fixing our immediate issues. We discussed possible work needed in the future but for now, our door is working again. It was so nice to be presented with possible future work needed without being high pressure selling like “your door is in dire need of total replacement or it’s going to fail” type of thing that we’ve gotten from other companies. Heard of your company on Garage Logic, many times. Came home at lunch Monday and garage wouldn’t open. Looked and saw spring was broken and door immobile. Called and setup appointment for Tuesday. Alex arrived right on schedule, assessed the situation, gave an estimate which I approved and went to work. Within an hour Alex had completed the job, replacing the springs, bearings and cables. All works well and the service was excellent.

The guy was nice and gave me plenty of details about my garage door. But the prices were not good. Way overpriced! And he told me the total would be $300 but it was over $350. He quoted me over $1300 to replace my springs too! I will not be recommending this company to anyone because of the highly inflated prices. Even when I called a few companies afterwards, they told me those prices sounded really high.

I have 8 properties in Woodbury and I exclusively used Precision for all of my garage door needs. I have every invoice from Precision over multiple past years. I had a 1 car garage door opener at a townhome that was having issues. The tech Gregg came out and said that the garage door opener needed to be replaced. He went on to give me a quote of $3,500 to replace all of it $3,200 to replace most parts and $2,800 to replace some. He was on speaker in my office so multiple people heard him. I called a competitor company and did it for $630. I went back to all invoices and I have never even came close to paying $3500 for an opener. I will never call Precision back to do any service, ever!
