Pat showed up on time and explained / showed me what was wrong and what was needed to repair our garage door. He worked diligently and completed all tasks in a reasonable amount of time. I do believe the cost is about 30 to 40 percent higher than it needs to be.

I ended up not using them. I called the day of my appointment to get some more information on the price of my broken spring replacement. The person on the phone stated springs replacement starts at $260 and goes up from there. I kept my appointment thinking it would be a bit more for both springs but never expected almost $900 when the guy showed up. Cost me a $49 trip charge. Seems like a revenue stream for them to tell people a lower price on the phone. Just be aware of this.

The garage door opener was operating erratically, I called Precision Garage Door and asked for appointment the next day. Tech Alex arrived in the am. I explained how the door was operating. Alex made adjustments and the door back working. Alex answered sum question I had. Alex was great to work with.

Precision responded quickly to my request and the technician they sent out was awesome. Very personable, professional and straight forward, he clarified my concerns and then did an assessment of my system. Once completed, he explained the solution to my problem and gave me some other options I could do to improve performance. When I just chose to get the original problem fixed and nothing more, there was no shame or blame. He did the job, left the place clean, and we where all happy with the solution. They were very timely and quick to fix my problem. My only complaint would be that a simple $2 part turned into a push for the full replacement of a perfectly good garage door opener. I’m sure the techs are trained to upsell, but it was an obvious ploy to try and get a customer to commit to a much more expensive service using subtle scare tactics.
