Last year Precision installed our new garage door. They did an excellent job, even found the paint to match the other units in our townhomes. Yesterday I was having trouble with the garage door not closing. Within two hour of my call, Greg came and fixed the problem and explained why it was happening. Precision is the best!

FIRST RATE SERVICE. Professional, friendly and reliable. Greg was excellent. He inspected all aspects of the door and lifter and gave me a detailed analysis of what needed to be done to tune it up and lessen the noise. He was realistic in his assessment and answered my questions completely and honestly about service alternatives. He explained everything well so I could decide what I wanted to do today and what I could defer until a later time. Then he went about his work and completed everything we had decided to do. I have used Precision before on my other garage door and have recommended them to friends who have also used them. I have been impressed with their quality of service and my friends have been too.

My garage door camper broke on a Sunday afternoon so I did a Google search and decided to call Precision Garage Door. They answered promptly on a Sunday afternoon and scheduled an appointment 1st thing Monday morning. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and said I could fix the door or look into a new door due to rust issues. I opted for the new door option. I have 8 properties in Woodbury and I exclusively used Precision for all of my garage door needs. I have every invoice from Precision over multiple past years. I had a 1 car garage door opener at a townhome that was having issues. The tech Gregg came out and said that the garage door opener needed to be replaced. He went on to give me a quote of $3,500 to replace all of it $3,200 to replace most parts and $2,800 to replace some. He was on speaker in my office so multiple people heard him. I called a competitor company and did it for $630. I went back to all invoices and I have never even came close to paying $3500 for an opener. I will never call Precision back to do any service, ever!

This is the second time I have used Precision for my garage door repair and the second time I have been extremely pleased with the result. Their service technicians are highly trained and efficient. Further, I do not pay attention to warranties, and pleasantly found out that some of the services on the garage door were covered from a prior service. There is no reason to shop around for garage door installation or repairs. Just call them up.

My tech, Gregg Traylor, arrived ahead of the scheduled appointment window. He was highly professional. He completed a thorough examination of the door opener and took photos. Gregg gave a complete explanation of his findings and suggested remedies. The installation of a new opener was required. He started the work immediately and completed the installation in about 90 minutes. I didn't pay the invoice until he had reviewed the installation and answered all questions to my satisfaction. I was very happy with the completed work. Gregg's pleasant personality was a bonus.

They replaced one spring 2021 and for $260 now they say its $380 and blame the increase on "COVID". He said that was pre-COVID well actually 2021 was not Pre-COVID that would have been 2019 or before. Asked for a detailed quote of labor and parts and they basically refused so I called another garage door company and they were able yo provide the quote over the phone. It's a spring just isn't that complicated. Why you would deliberately obscuring the prices is unprofessional and shouts "we are going to overcharge you".

Greg did an OUTSTANDING JOB! He explained exactly what the issue was with the door. The door Greg worked on has been installed for 31 years and the opener and bearings are shot, he did what he could for us under the noisy door deal Precision is offering and we informed him that we plan on replacing both doors in the summer of 2026. He gave us a brochure today and my wife has already decided on what she is planning to purchase in July of 2026. Thanks again Greg...EXCELLENT job, I was in customer service for 45 years and it is hard to find people these days that are good at interfacing with the customer one on one anymore, but Greg nailed it!!

Our garage door cables broke (of course) the day before Thanksgiving. After getting back in town I thought the fix would be easy. Of course not. Called your company on Saturday to get someone out. To my surprise they were able to come out on Sunday! Made an appointment for 10 am. The guy was in and out in an hour. The door was all fixed! Only four stars for two reasons. He showed up at around 8:30 am. The other being a few nuts were not tightened on the brackets. Not a big deal but still...
