We needed a quick response since we couldn’t get either of our vehicles out of the garage with a broken spring on the one side. Honestly, We did call A1 Garage Door first but they couldn’t come out for 5 days! Seriously? So glad we made that second call! The initial call to Precision was professional, friendly and efficient. The technician was to our home within a 1.5 hr. The inspection and estimating process was very detailed with precise pictures and documentation. Our technician, Noah, was excellent and completed our job within a couple of hours. Now, you can shop around and get better cost on the parts BUT, the speed that Precision takes care of customers, the quality of the installation, and a three year warranty was well worth the price paid and the convenience of being able to use the door within a few hours. We would highly recommend.

We had two new garage doors installed 9 months ago by Precision and they were getting noisy during normal cycling. I set up an appointment. They showed up on time and found the problem quite quickly. Apparently you should oil everything at least every 6 months, not just once a year. I also found out that you need to use a non silicon spray. Precision technicians really know their products well and do a great job at very reasonable prices.

FIRST RATE SERVICE. Professional, friendly and reliable. Greg was excellent. He inspected all aspects of the door and lifter and gave me a detailed analysis of what needed to be done to tune it up and lessen the noise. He was realistic in his assessment and answered my questions completely and honestly about service alternatives. He explained everything well so I could decide what I wanted to do today and what I could defer until a later time. Then he went about his work and completed everything we had decided to do. I have used Precision before on my other garage door and have recommended them to friends who have also used them. I have been impressed with their quality of service and my friends have been too.

I called for a quote to fix my torsion springs. The person said it was $250 per side which I still thought was high but they were responsive it could come out right away so I accepted that. The service tech arrived and went through what he said was a safety check. He was a super nice guy and then informed me that I needed a new center bearing because mine was plastic. I told him I never heard of a center bearing going out and how did he know it was bad. He told me it would be nearly $1,000 to fix the door two Springs and the bearing without even knowing if the bearing was bad. So I said you're telling me the bearing is nearly $500? Because I was quoted $500 for two Springs. At that point it was not worth debating it I told him I would pay the service fee and sent him on his way so in the end I still got screwed in the end out of 49 bucks.

Recently I had my second service call with Precision Door. They did a great job installing a new opener for me a few years back. I had a problem with the operation of my door recently and I had great experience. I called and the woman on the phone (I don't recall her name) was very attentive and helpful I was told a technician would be out that afternoon. Noah arrived at my house just an hour or so later. He looked at my issue and after determining it was minor, he called in to the office and was able to apply my $49 service call to maintenance at a later date. Great service, very fast, I appreciate all of Noah's help and will definitely keep Precision Door as my #1 "go-to" for garage doors.

Noah who installed the new opener was great - he explained things well and was very professional. The problem I had was trying to pair the opener to my f150 . After trying several times doing the procedure through Ford, LiftMaster and other online suggestions, I called Precision for suggestions or help from tech support. The response I got was, “I’ll have to talk to my manager and get back to you”, which never happened. My trucks system is called Car2U (vs Homelink) and the info I found states it should be compatible. Bye the way, LiftMasters manual is awful .
