I was told on the phone that pricing for replacing springs started at $250. When the tech looked over my door, everything was OK so all I needed was the springs, but now somehow the price had gone up to $700. Nice scam and I bet it works most of the time, but I got mine done for less than $400.

Our opener and several parts of the garage door were replaced in December. We submitted a review for that but both remote controls quit working within a couple of days of each other in July so we called for a technician. He came the same day we called. After checking everything, he agreed that there didn't appear to be a reason for the remotes to quit working so he reprogrammed the unit and tested everything thoroughly and showed me how to reprogram it. He was kind, thorough, and efficient.

Technician came out to our residence for an inspection of our bottom seals. I had tried to replace myself but could not find the part in any of the local big box stores. He found that they did not carry it in stock but called back to the shop and had it ordered. It came in in under a week and was installed yesterday ! This will keep all the critters out of the garage finally !

Had a very costly repair after the cable snapped. But unfortunately, a couple of days after the door either jerks in partly opens/closes and few times just snaps off of the opener track that I have to use the emergency opening string to snap it back. The gentleman came in the following morning and said there is more to the repair with sensors etc. which he said he did not touch. Sensors are in the vertical tracks which got replaced so not sure how they were not touched. Either way, the primary problem is with the unsnapping of the pull up unit. Very frustrating that I have to get home to open the door for my family.

One of our garage doors had a lift cable break on a Monday morning. I called Precision Door at 12:30 PM and the pleasant scheduler told me a technician named Chad would be out between 2 and 6 that afternoon. Chad called at 1:40 to tell us that he would be there by 2. He arrived right on time and quickly assessed the problem. I also asked him about replacing the failing bottom door seals on both doors, and to do some preventive parts replacement on the other door so we wouldn't have another problem this winter. Five minutes later Chad gave me two estimates, one to fix the original problem, and another that covered the additional work I requested. The estimates were laid out so that I could opt in or out of each element of the work. He had all the parts necessary to do both doors with him on his truck and was finished with everything by 3:30. Now the doors on our attached garage operate so quietly that we can no longer hear them going up and down from inside the house. The work appears to be very well done and is guaranteed for three years. I would definitely recommend using Precision Door.

Our service person was very helpful in fixing our immediate issues. We discussed possible work needed in the future but for now, our door is working again. It was so nice to be presented with possible future work needed without being high pressure selling like “your door is in dire need of total replacement or it’s going to fail” type of thing that we’ve gotten from other companies. Our technician Bret was very professional and personable. I was pretty sure of the problem and Bret confirmed that we needed a new logic board for our Liftmaster garage door opener. The new board had to be ordered and Bret came back to install it today. Very happy with Bret and Precision Garage Door and if we have any future needs we will not hesitate to use them again.

Precision garage door replaced the torsion springs for our garage door a couple of years ago, and recently they replaced our garage door opener, safety sensors, keypad, remotes and wall controller. It was easy to make an appointment, they responded very quickly, and Chad did excellent work.
