Pat explained the issues and options to correct the problems. Pat replaced cables,springs,bottom brackets,rollers and the damaged weather stripping. Strives was quick and fairly priced. This is the second time I have used Precision for my garage door repair and the second time I have been extremely pleased with the result. Their service technicians are highly trained and efficient. Further, I do not pay attention to warranties, and pleasantly found out that some of the services on the garage door were covered from a prior service. There is no reason to shop around for garage door installation or repairs. Just call them up.

Pat was right on time for our appointment after 2 other companies failed to show up at all! He provided an extensive review, including pictures, of my garage door/system that was 24 years old. I did have a broken spring which was the reason for my appointment. After a review of everything that worn or a possible future issue with my garage doors, we discussed replacing both doors instead of repairing them...putting off future issues. I ended up going with 2 new insulated doors. I have been in sales for 30 years. I don't feel like I was "sold" into purchasing new doors instead of fixing my existing issues. Pat, our technician, never pushed one option over another but simply laid out my options and let me decide.

I’m still amazed by how seamless it was working with Precision. In truth, I’m writing it down because I still don’t quite believe it. My ancient belt drive finally called it a day and after an attempted home repair somehow made that worse, Precision had an appointment scheduled and the unit totally replaced in under two hours. Chad did an impeccable job installing the unit, replacing some bad wiring from the 20th century, and explaining everything clearly so that I knew exactly what to expect. The person on the phone who set up the appointment was similarly pleasant to work with and a consummate professional. I won’t even consider going with a company other than Precision for anything having to do with my garage in the future. Thanks!

Alex, the technician that perform my service was, timely, professional, neat and a good communicator. Alex is an asset to your company! As a Continuous Improvement item, the scheduled time for my appointment, the email and text I received the day before all confirm an arrival time between, 10: a.m. to 12: noon. Alex showed up at 8: a.m.. Just an FYI, how accurate commination is vital.

I contacted a technician to replace a broken torsion spring and extension spring on my garage door. After inspection, I was quoted $4,000 for repair and over $5,000 for a full door replacement with a 3–4 week wait. Due to extreme cold and pressure at the time, I signed the contract. Shortly after the technicians left, I attempted to cancel. However, no one could provide the names of the technicians who came to my home. I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. I called more than ten times using different phone numbers with no response and also visited the Eden Prairie office, which was closed. I am very disappointed with the company’s lack of communication and business practices.

The tech came and didn’t attempt to repair or even check what was wrong. He right away said it wasn’t fixable because of the older springs. He was more worried about writing up and estimate for over 4000.00 for a new door. I declined, went to you tube to troubleshoot if it was my springs. It wasn’t. I was able to get it working myself. I called for him to Fix not try and sell me a new door, or at least really legit try to fix 1st before he tried to make a sale. Wondering if he even knew how to do any kind of repair.
