FIRST RATE SERVICE. Professional, friendly and reliable. Greg was excellent. He inspected all aspects of the door and lifter and gave me a detailed analysis of what needed to be done to tune it up and lessen the noise. He was realistic in his assessment and answered my questions completely and honestly about service alternatives. He explained everything well so I could decide what I wanted to do today and what I could defer until a later time. Then he went about his work and completed everything we had decided to do. I have used Precision before on my other garage door and have recommended them to friends who have also used them. I have been impressed with their quality of service and my friends have been too.

I was told on the phone that pricing for replacing springs started at $250. When the tech looked over my door, everything was OK so all I needed was the springs, but now somehow the price had gone up to $700. Nice scam and I bet it works most of the time, but I got mine done for less than $400.

Our opener and several parts of the garage door were replaced in December. We submitted a review for that but both remote controls quit working within a couple of days of each other in July so we called for a technician. He came the same day we called. After checking everything, he agreed that there didn't appear to be a reason for the remotes to quit working so he reprogrammed the unit and tested everything thoroughly and showed me how to reprogram it. He was kind, thorough, and efficient.

Technician came out to our residence for an inspection of our bottom seals. I had tried to replace myself but could not find the part in any of the local big box stores. He found that they did not carry it in stock but called back to the shop and had it ordered. It came in in under a week and was installed yesterday ! This will keep all the critters out of the garage finally !

Our service person was very helpful in fixing our immediate issues. We discussed possible work needed in the future but for now, our door is working again. It was so nice to be presented with possible future work needed without being high pressure selling like “your door is in dire need of total replacement or it’s going to fail” type of thing that we’ve gotten from other companies. I called for a quote to fix my torsion springs. The person said it was $250 per side which I still thought was high but they were responsive it could come out right away so I accepted that. The service tech arrived and went through what he said was a safety check. He was a super nice guy and then informed me that I needed a new center bearing because mine was plastic. I told him I never heard of a center bearing going out and how did he know it was bad. He told me it would be nearly $1,000 to fix the door two Springs and the bearing without even knowing if the bearing was bad. So I said you're telling me the bearing is nearly $500? Because I was quoted $500 for two Springs. At that point it was not worth debating it I told him I would pay the service fee and sent him on his way so in the end I still got screwed in the end out of 49 bucks.

Just left a message with Precision. Aaron was absolutely FANTASTIC! He is probably the third or fourth tech I've had out, and while they were all excellent, Aaron by far is heads above the rest. On tis very hot, humid day he spent time in our stifling garage replacing a back up battery, tuning up the whole unit, and most importantly suggesting I replace the top bracket on the opener with a new one. Despite the extra cost when he showed me the new one couldn't believe the difference in size and pull strength. I'm so pleased. He mentioned he's only been with your company for three months. Better hold onto this one - he's just amazing and you want him to stay!!

Great customer service, contacted them last night and they had a tech in my driveway by 8 am the next morning. Sean is a great tech, answered all my questions and then some. We had a working garage door again within a couple of hours and the work was excellent. Do your homework and check around before hiring them. Sure, they have a 24-hour line and will get out there. But, once they have you on the hook for the trip charge, they’ll charged twice as much as the next company. Sure enough, when I asked another company for a rough estimate on cost, he said it would be half the price of what was charged. I should have done my homework first.

I called and set up appointment to replace a broken spring. After the service person said hello, he said I see you are looking to replace your garage doors. I advised him all I wanted was to have the spring replaced. The person who took my appointment quoted $250 to $300 for the replacement of the spring on one door. Since they were coming out I also wanted the spring replaced on the other door. So $500 to $600 for the job. When the service person was done reviewing the doors he said the price with military discount for all of the things that needed to be done was $3,995. My door has only one spring. He said doors need two springs to be safe. Wow, single doors only need one spring and the other items he said I needed did not need to be replaced. I have been in the garage door industry for 40 years and this is the worst transaction I have ever seen!

We were honestly left with more questions than answers. They left, the garage door still didn’t work and they charged us $300. Didn’t take anything off until I asked. All they attempted to do was sell us a new garage door and opener. Pretty disappointed
