Nobody ever wants to replace a garage door - you just want it to work. But when it doesn't, call Precision. A tech came out on Memorial Day, helped me get the door open so we could get cars out, and got us a quote and a next day appointment for new opener, rails, springs, cables - basically everything except the door itself. Their parts have a lifetime warranty, transferrable upon sale of the house. I've used a few other garage door services in the past, but I'm done with that now. When my other garage door needs attention, the first and only call I'll make is to Precision.

My door spring broke and I made a same day appointment with Precision after a brief search for local garage door service. They came over that morning repaired the door and service our second garage door too. It is expensive but necessary after 16 years of service. I don't expect to call again for at least 16-20 more!

Installer Brock came out and did a thorough inspection and gave me an estimate where he clearly explained what needed to be done. He fixed our problem quickly, and there was a lot of work to be done! Was completely impressed when I arrived home at how everything now worked smoothly. I highly recommend Precision! They fixed the tracks, springs and coils, and replaced the faulty opener.

Mike was fabulous. He was prompt and listened to me explaining what was happening with the opening and closing of my garage door. We had spoken on the phone, and I had told him the issues. He asked if I had a green light and I mentioned no, just a yellow light. So, he told me to check and see if I could get a green light and if I did to call and cancel the appointment. I did green a green light but only when I played with the cord. So, I explained that to him when he arrived. Due to an electrical issue, I still wanted him to look at it and fix it if needed. He promptly got busy and had it fixed in no time. I was happy with what he did to get it fixed. Thank you, Mike, for the outstanding job.

Brock did a great job, and quickly diagnosed a problem where the garage door wouldn't close all the way before going back up.

We had the whole set up replaced in 2020. Called to see if there was a warranty on it. I was told yes it's covered but there will be a $49 trip charge. That's ok. But I did not see where it said covered. So I called back to confirm it was in fact covered under warranty, and again they said it's. I said I am not prepared to pay anything besides the trip charge. They said oh yes it is. I asked my mom to look at the invoice from 2020 and she did not see it was covered either. So she, for a third time now, called to confirm this. And for the third time it was "covered". When the tech got here, no it was not. He said the $49 is of we did not want the work done, even though he had to leave to get the parts to fix it. That was another hour of time. But it would be $611. He said, maybe they misread the invoice. That means 3 people in their call center misread it. Seems the only goal is to get the appointment booked and get the tech out to the house. I don't like how they conducted business. The work was fine. Be careful when you schedule.
