Got quote right away. Technician was able to come out next day but did not complete job on same day. I had to call company to alert them the job was not complete. The technician was able to return the next week at which time he was able to complete the job, however once he left the safety light sensors turned off and his supervisor had to return to the job to replace the wiring. Overall the job wasn't done how it was promised and then I had to be the one to call that it wasn't completed correctly. Overall fast responses but not the quality that I saw from other reviews or what I was promised from the sales person.

John arrived an hour early, (on a holiday day!) and immediately identified and fixed the problem. He explained very clearly what probably caused the problem and added an extra protective device to insure it doesn't happen again. This is the third experience I've had with this company and all three have been wonderful! Prompt, efficient, courteous. Wish more companies would operate like Precision Door!

Chad was thorough and explained recommended maintenance as well as repairing our issue. Another company with "free" estimates told us we needed a new unit & parts which was a scam or totally inept worker on their part. I'd recommend Precision Garage Door in a heartbeat. I can't say enough good things about the experience I just had: my initial call was answered right away, the operators were very courteous and helpful, the service call was conveniently scheduled, and the communication with the technician was perfect. Although I or my tenants were not available to be on-site, I appreciated the email informing me that the technician, James Magaard, was on the way. He also called to let me know, as is part of the service process. If I need garage door service in the future, I will request James. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. The service costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend using Precision Garage Door Twin Cities!

Our garage door got damaged by getting hit by a vehicle. Mike came over within 2 hours of my phone call and aligned the door so we could use it manually. We ordered a new garage door and opener that took about 2 weeks to get. Zac and Rafael came over to install the new door and opener within 2.5 hours, wow! The entire precision door team was superb! Amazing service! Came out same day and fixed everything within a couple hours. My technician, Adam Mitchell, did an amazing job explaining each step to me. He also did a safety inspection upon arrival and went over everything and the costs before beginning so I was able to make a decision that made the most sense fiscally for me without pressuring me in any direction. Great service all around! I purchased a new opener, surge protector, belt rail, springs, bearing, and rollers. Everything is working great! As a side note - I really loved being able to schedule the service online and that I received updates via text. Very user-friendly for those of us who hate talking on the phone!

Johnathan was a great guy to deal with. I mean this 100% positively, he's a garage door geek. He not only allowed me, he welcomed me to watch him repair my broken spring. I love watching people,do things that I can't do. My garage is tough because it's very tight, and he was excited because it wasn't the normal easy job. I thought that was sorta cool. I approach my work the same way. If all the guys here have that same approach, these are the guys I would go with.

We had two new overhead doors installed 5/4/23 and the installer, Donny, was outstanding! He was efficient in dismantling the old doors, which were quite heavy, and then preparing the openings for the new doors. He was also efficient during installation taking less time than we expected. But more importantly, the doors worked to perfection after his hard work. Zero problems after several days of use. He advised on the proper maintenance and exhibited his expertise throughout. We are glad that Donny was our installer. And by the way, two different neighbors walked over in the following couple days and asked to see what the garage interior looked like from the inside. We had windows installed on the new doors. The daylight is wonderful with no need to turn on lights for most things. The neighbors were impressed with the quality of the doors and of the expert installation. Good job Precision, good job by Donny! Jim J

I am so pleased with what I chose to have done after consulting with your Precision Technician Adam Mitchell. He was so courteous and professional and explained everything so well. He replaced numerous parts and cables, did a lube & tune up, and reinforced some areas and also installed a new Garage Door Opener. It is like having a whole new door! Wow. Very impressed with the quality of service and the knowledge and expertise of our technician Jonathan. Garage door opener was not working properly. Would not shut all the way down. Had to unhook and close manually for a couple of days. No easy task. Had no idea who to call and was dreading having to install a new opener. Took a chance with Precision and couldn’t be happier. Jonathan saw the problems immediately. The sensors, even though they had worked all these years, had been installed improperly. Also the power on the motor needed to be adjusted. He then did a full inspection and explained every single thing in easy to understand detail. I had him replace the rollers, and lube the parts. Everything running smooth and much quieter now. Great job Jonathan.

Precision OGDS was recommended to me by a friend who had recently had work done at his home by them. Everything he told me about the service he received was true. 1. Easy to schedule. 2. Arrived on time. Was scheduled to arrive between 8am-10am. I received a courtesy call at 7:30am on the day we were scheduled. The tech was there at 8:15am. Diagnosed the issue I'd been having for a year. Did NOT try to up sell me. Laid out 2 options and gave me quotes on both. 3. Replaced my old opener, wall pads & electronic eyes as requested. 4. The work was completed at 9:20am. 5. Alex explained the openers features, his companies and the manufactures warranties. Alex displayed professionalism, courtesy and common sense in his explanation's regarding my questions. 6. Cleaned up and disposed of old opener track and parts. Great service! Chad was here when they said he would. He was knowledgeable on the issue I was having with my garage door. I was able to get it fixed and working the same day as the consultation. The whole process took approximately an hour. He was able to give me an accurate quote before he started and answered all my questions. He gave recommendations and possible problems to look for in the future as my garage door ages. I was very impressed. I was positive I would need a whole new door and frame, I'm glad I had them come check it before I did that!

Chris S. (Sales) was friendly and helped pick out options for what was needed. Donovan (installer) was quiet but very knowledgeable and professional whenever we had a question. Both were on time and courteous. We needed a new door installed and possibly the control box. Turns out the control box was just jammed up and easily fixed (saving money). I'd use them again if needed.
