My garage door crashed down, locking in my car that was needed to pickup my disabled veteran husband from day center within the hour! (I called Precision Door from an online listing.) The telephone response woman not only provided an efficient and patient appointment, she pre-noted the emergency to the service rep who came to repair the door in enough time to fix the door so that I could meet the pickup deadline. Jonathan Zwart, the technician was professional, rapid and thorough in his diagnosis and repair. What a gem!

Garage spring broke Friday afternoon. Couldn't find one at Lowe's, Home Depot, or Menards. Called precision and told them what happened. The had Chad the service tech out at 8am SHARP. He did a quick, clean, accurate job. Walked through the inspection, identified some other minor problems found, and had the repair done within an hour!

Summary: Great technician. Great installation. Poor pricing clarity. Very overpriced parts. The technician, Colton, was excellent. He did a great a job with the installation, and was very helpful walking me through each step of the repair he was going to perform. His original quote on the springs I needed was one size too small, so the final bill was $14 more than he quoted; not a big deal there, though. 5-star service from him overall. I am deducting one star for the presentation of the pricing model from the company, however. When I called to get an idea of what they charge, they said "there's a $75 installation fee, but this is waived with the repair." While this is technically true, they charge a $65 "lube and tune" fee, which wasn't mentioned on the phone. They charged another $36 for a small bearing, which also wasn't mentioned on the phone. No one likes unexpected charges, especially when things are presented with the illusion of "no installation fee." I am deducting one more star for the price of their parts. The springs I got are rated at 15,000 cycles, and cost me $205 each. Had I ordered the same sized springs from somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot, they cost about $45 each. I assumed there would be some price markup to offset their "free installation," but 4x markup is extreme. Especially considering they charged me for installation in a roundabout way anyway. Overall I would say my experience was "just okay." I acknowledge that the job was done well, but next time I'll probably shop around for someone with more competitive prices.

I called Precision Door Service given on your site you stressed the fact that fixing a door can be done rather than a full replacement. When the technician got here, the response was the gear is sheered off so the entire garage door opener needs to be replaced. No consideration to even fix the opener was presented. The cost of replacing the opener was quoted at $500 dollars which is ridiculous. And I get charged $75 for the technicians to show up and give me this proposal. I've since purchased the replacement parts for the opener at a cost of $27 and will fix it myself.

I chose precision garage based on few google reviews I read. My experience with precision was great. It was seamless from the time I requested a quote all the way to installation. Donney and Joshua showed up in time and they were very thorough and took their time to get everything installed and functioning properly. Awesome Service! I called to get my garage door fixed at 3:44pm, they put me in for an appointment at 4 pm and Jason called at 3:53pm saying he was on his way! Now that is prompt. Jason inspected the door, told me what was wrong and got it all done in about an hour to hour and half. He even was fine with my Cheweenie barking everytime he made the slightest noise. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs their garage door fixed!!

When my garage door opener broke, I went on Google because I have no idea who to call. Precision door service was the 1st option I could see. There was alot of info on their webpage, but also chat with a live agent, they were kind, professional, I had an appointment within a couple of minutes. When my Tech Devon arrived, he was polite, confident, professional, he was in one word "perfect" . He explained my new system, and it was installed in about an hour, he cleaned up before he left. Precision Door Service is so lucky to have Devon, It's never easy when life throws you a curve ball, and i get it, it's just a garage door. This company was perfect from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone that asks !

The Precision Garage Door guys arrived on time and fixed my door (replaced the springs) in short order. They also did an overall inspection and reported that my door was in good shape so no additional pieces were needed. I got a 3-year warranty. By all measures, a good experience.

I had Precision Door repair my garage door after the spring broke. The tech notified me when he was on his way and arrived as scheduled. The tech was courteous and professional and gave me a quote before beginning the work. The work was done in a timely fashion and is warrantied for 3 years.
