Fast and friendly! Here's my experience with Precision Garage Door Twin Cities: I called them in the afternoon because one of my door cables broke and threw my whole garage door kitty wompus and stuck. They were able to come out that same day but I decided for the next day. Josh, my super friendly and knowledgeable service technician arrived right on schedule, assessed the problem, gave me a quote then fixed it. Josh went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I am super happy Josh was able to get my door and rails straightened out and get my garage door back up and running smoothly. The spring on my garage door snapped, so I started searching google for repair companies, and after looking at the reviews, called Precision. Joshua arrived within two hours of making the call and addressed my concerns about the age of the door. After his inspection, he pointed out that in addition to the spring, the cables were a little worse for wear. The quote was reasonable, and the work was done very quickly. Now my garage door is working better and is quieter than it has been since I moved in. I will definitely keep Precision in mind for any future garage door issues.

Our garage door was down and could not be opened even manually. Precision techs Ryan (trainer) and Rashawn (trainee) determined it was a broken plastic spool attached to the cable pulley. Ryan stated this was and older homeowner installed type of system and they did not carry parts for it and were not authorized to work on it because of it's age. He explained how we could fix it and get it operational ourselves. They then disconnected the cable system to allow the door to be opened manually (so we could at least get our cars out). Being they could not repair it he Ryan said there would be No Charge! (even though there was supposed to be a $65 service/inspection fee). As they were about to leave, we decided to have them install the newer type of torsion/spring/cable lift system. They did so in about an hour and did a meticulous job of installation and instructions of use. There was absolutely NO attempt to "upsell" any service (in fact we had to ask as they were about to drive off). We will definitley use Precision Garage Door in the future and they would be our first recommendation to anyone. Ryan and Rashawn did a great job of representing their company.

One of our garage doors needed repair on a Friday afternoon. I called Precision not expecting to get anyone out to repair it today. From the initial call with Kara to the service work done by Troy they will be our “Go To” for anything garage door related. Within 3 hours Troy had the door back operational. The lady I talked to when I called to make an appointment was very helpful and kind. I was given a two-hour window of when the service tech would arrive. He called 30 min before he arrived, at the beginning of that window. I also was sent an email with the tech's name and picture on it so I could be assured who was knocking on my door. We made the appointment on a Wednesday afternoon and the tech arrived the next morning. The technician, Alex looked at my garage door to determine the repaires needed and gave me an estimate. It didn't take him long to complete repairs of replacing the sensors and cables. Then he lubed, adjusted, and tested the functioning of the door. I am vary pleased with the whole process. Friendly, punctual, and thorough service!

Broken garage door spring discovered when we tried to leave home about 8 p.m. Searched internet for repair companies. Called and was told a technician was available between 10:00 and 12:00 the next day. Made the appointment and received a call about 10:30 from Troy who said he would be at my house within 10 minutes. Troy confirmed the broken spring and a few of the rollers were in need of replacement. He prepared an estimate of work he felt was appropriate and explained why. He showed me the cost of each item and the total cost of the job. He worked efficiently and was done within 1.5 hours. He gave me the opportunity to review the work and answered my questions. Recommend Troy highly.

The cable broke on our garage door last night when we returned home. As it is a weekend we were concerned we wouldn't be able to get anyone to repair it before next week. We called Precision because we have used you before and you were able to provide a technician very quickly. Troy quickly repaired the cable and the door was back in service.
