Very happy with the service from Precision. Received one day service for our functioning door. We needed a new weather strip and a general tune up. Pat explained the issues and options to correct the problems. Pat replaced cables,springs,bottom brackets,rollers and the damaged weather stripping. Strives was quick and fairly priced. This is the second time I have used Precision for my garage door repair and the second time I have been extremely pleased with the result. Their service technicians are highly trained and efficient. Further, I do not pay attention to warranties, and pleasantly found out that some of the services on the garage door were covered from a prior service. There is no reason to shop around for garage door installation or repairs. Just call them up.

During the cold snap this Winter our garage door overhead unit needed some attention. So I got ahold of Tyler and he was able to come out to take a look. Upon his advice of our opener and garage being near 25yrs old and on their last legs we ended up getting brand new everything with lifetime warranty! (Sales people gotta sale!) I must say when you have old stuff and use it until it’s dead getting brand new feels so so good! Dustin did the install, and was a one man show because of some call outs. Everything went smoothly and he kept plugging along until the job was done! The motor on this unit is so quiet and satisfying to open/shut that I am not worried about it waking the baby anymore! The track is so smooth and sturdy enough to do some pull-ups on! And you can’t go wrong with that black color door! Quite the standout. So all in all what was supposed to be an easy, non-expensive fix ended up costing us a bit but totally worth it in the long run. Fist bump to my wife for pulling the trigger. Thanks boys!

Shaun was first, showed me all the rust at the bottom then the wheels were worn down so that the shaft was rubbing on the tract along with many cracked hinges. That was enough for us to replace it. We decided to upgrade to the class 3 insulated door with a new closer, all were in stock. Caden and Dustin came for the installation and removal of the old door. It took about 2.5 hours and the were done with all including the cleaning. Caden came in and went over some of the maintenance items. All in all the crew were very knowledgeable and their workmanship was excellent. We are glad we chose Precision for the replacement.

We love our home and are mindful of the importance of regular maintenance and updates. Our overhead garage doors have faithfully withstood many MN seasons, but after 25 years they were due to receive a “facelift”. Reaching out to Precision Garage Doors, we were well pleased with the sales rep who arrived shortly after contacting the business. Finding him courteous, informative, and well prepared, he provided helpful suggestions and reasonable pricing. We’re thankful we reached out to Precision Garage Doors!

Garage door not opening. Called for service. Smooth intake process, quick appointment, reasonable $50 for service call. After inspection, we are informed that the hardware needs replacement (~2.5k cost). We asked if it is possible at all to fix even temporary - and the answer was no. Called another highly rated service provider who also came quickly and fixed at $250 cost. Usually would consider this practice variation but we did double check and ask if its at all possible to fix, so hence the disappointment.

Adam was our service person. He did a thorough inspection of our garage door system components. He determined that the torsion springs were weakening and weren’t adequately supporting our door which is a heavy one. Also, he identified fraying on the cables as well as some metal shavings under a cable drum indicating excessive wear on the bearings. We had all the aforementioned parts replaced. Adam finished the work within an hour. He was very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I’d recommend Precision Garage and Adam to do similar garage door work.

Pat was right on time for our appointment after 2 other companies failed to show up at all! He provided an extensive review, including pictures, of my garage door/system that was 24 years old. I did have a broken spring which was the reason for my appointment. After a review of everything that worn or a possible future issue with my garage doors, we discussed replacing both doors instead of repairing them...putting off future issues. I ended up going with 2 new insulated doors. I have been in sales for 30 years. I don't feel like I was "sold" into purchasing new doors instead of fixing my existing issues. Pat, our technician, never pushed one option over another but simply laid out my options and let me decide.
