With the cold Minnesota winters, my garage door was frozen to the ground. I was unaware and when I went to open the garage door to leave for work, the door busted and the opener was unable to function anymore. I was having to manually open the garage door which isn't hard, but not a good time. I am a single woman who lives alone and don't know anyone who could help. I went to google and this was the first company to pop up for my area. I was able to make an appointment with Precision Garage Door Service online. There were many dates and times available to choose when it would work for me. I was given confirmation of the appointment at the time of scheduling, the day before the scheduled appointment, as well as about 30-60 minutes (I can't remember which) before the technician arrived. I also got a call from the technician as well who introduced himself as Chuck! Chuck was fantastic from beginning to end. He looked at what was going on with the garage door and was able to put together 3 separate options for me to choose from. He explained what each one was along with the cost as well as the long-term outcome from each option. After selecting the route, I wanted to go, he got to work! An hour or so later, I had a fully functioning garage door again! He explained to me what he had done as well. Garage doors aren't always pretty but he definitely gave mine a face lift! This was all about 3 weeks ago and I have not had any issues with the door at all. I had a wonderful experience from scheduling the appointment, being notified of technician arrival as well as the options and services that could be provided. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone and everyone who needs help with their garage door!

I have 8 properties in Woodbury and I exclusively used Precision for all of my garage door needs. I have every invoice from Precision over multiple past years. I had a 1 car garage door opener at a townhome that was having issues. The tech Gregg came out and said that the garage door opener needed to be replaced. He went on to give me a quote of $3,500 to replace all of it $3,200 to replace most parts and $2,800 to replace some. He was on speaker in my office so multiple people heard him. I called a competitor company and did it for $630. I went back to all invoices and I have never even came close to paying $3500 for an opener. I will never call Precision back to do any service, ever!

The service technician was great. Found our problem quickly and did not try to sell us a new door opener, but got the present one operating in a few minutes. Checked over door rollers and safety features and only charged for service call.

Installation completed in a timely manner. We had a slight issue after installation with the framework of the garage opening and Patrick came back on site and addressed that as well. I experienced a problem with my newly installed garage door system. I couldn’t get the door to close. I called for a technician to take a look. A very knowledgeable and friendly young man came right away; in less than 3 hours. He immediately knew what was the problem; the sensors needed some adjustments. In other words, the door wasn’t going down because the system was doing what it was suppose to be doing. He explained everything and helped me to understand the menu. He corrected the time and also explained if this were to ever happened again how I could get the door to close. Excellent job and I am so pleased with my new door!

I highly recommend Precision Garage Door. We have had them fix a garage door spring as well as install openers for both of our garages.
