Your technician, James Magaard, came to my house yesterday to look at my garage door opener, which was malfunctioning. Not only did James diagnose and fix the problem, he went above and beyond, inspecting the garage door, rails, and track. He even straightened out one of the rails, and greased the track, so the door would open and shut with less noise. James was informative and friendly. A total pro! I heard about Precision Garage Door on the Garage Logic podcast, and would whole-heartedly endorse them!

Chad came out this morning to install a new garage opener and tuned up the garage door. I truly appreciate your company and Chads integrity and honesty while checking over the door. He never tried to sell us something we did not need and we are even getting a partial refund due to parts he told us that did not need to be replaced. We called Precision Garage Door Service knowing we had a lot wrong with our garage door. Chuck was able to educate us why there was so much wear and tear on our garage door and why a lot of the parts of our door were rusted and over worked. In addition to the age and wear tear, our garage door opener stopped working. Chuck helped us understand what we needed to get done today versus what could get done in the future as well as a breakdown of price and services. He was done within a few hours and our garage door is working perfectly and silently!

I called Precision because they are an advertiser on the Garage Logic podcast. My 18'X8' doors' cable came off the jackshaft pulley on one side and the door was in danger of coming loose completely. I called precision at about 10:30 on Saturday morning and by 1:30 that same day, my technician Brian came to my house to get me fixed up. Prior to his arrival, I received a text from Brian / Precision with his picture on it, that was a nice touch. Brian was an awesome technician (and a GL'er) and took care of a decently long list of some minor and some not so minor issues I had with my door and opener. I have been a construction project manager for 36 years and know good service and capable people when I see them, and Precision has it all going on! I highly recommend Precision, you do get what you pay for. Erik Mahin.

The door installing crew was very professional, courteous and pleasant and explained almost everything to us. (We did not ask them to help us with the phone app and we are having trouble getting that set up). Greg came out the same day and quickly assessed and corrected the problem in just a few minutes with no charge. Scheduling appointment was easy and timely. I actually got same day appointment. Technition was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He described the different garage door openers they had and the differences between them but did not push me to choose the highest priced unit. He let me choose based on my needs. Installed with an hour and the tech spent time going over everything after it was installed and insured I was satisfied. Great experience!

This past Tuesday I spoke with a neighbor who told me that he had Precision Door Minnesota to his home to quiet a noisy garage door. He was most impressed with the service which prompted me to call Precision to address what we consider an irritatingly noisy garage door. James Magaard showed up this morning. James (Jim, Jamey?). He was impressively personable and professional. He conducted a thorough inspection of our garage door, then went over it with me, pointing out components that were worn to the point that replacement was advisable, others that were slightly worn, but had good life left, and others that could be left as is for now. He provided two estimates for two different repair scenarios, along with pros and cons of each. Once I made a selection, he took approximately 45 minutes to undertake and complete the repairs, then went over with me what had been done, and made suggestions for ongoing home self-maintenance. The garage door is now quiet. I could hardly be more pleased and impressed with the Precision operation and with Jack as the firm's field representative.

On Sunday April 7, 2024, the torsion spring for our main garage door had broken and I needed to get the garage door fixed so my wife could get to work on Monday. I checked for any services available to make the repair. I found Precsion Door had several 5-star ratings and I decided to call them, figuring that it would not be until Monday the phone would be answered. To my surprise, someone answered, and I explained my situation. The receptionist stated that they would have someone come out on a Sunday. I then asked if this was considered an emergency call, I was told no it was a regular workday for them. Shortly after I booked the repair with Precsion Door, I received an email message stating that Gregg Traylor would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. I received a phone call from Gregg stating that he was done early with his current appointment early and was on his way to our residence. Gregg arrived at 1:00 pm, he promptly looked over what all was wrong with the garage door other than the torsion spring. He pointed out several items that should be serviced but told me I could do only the torsion spring replacement today. I chose only to replace the torsion spring. Once the work was completed, Gregg explained to me when the garage door was originally installed the torsion spring installed was rated for 300 pounds and the door actually should have had a torsion spring for 350 pounds. He installed the correct spring. Throughout the entire process, Gregg was extremely professional and friendly taking all the time to explain what he had observed that needed to be serviced at some point. He also emailed pictures of things he observed so I can decide when to do these things. Precsion Door’s prices were not out of line, and I would consider using them again for my garage door services!

I was in an unfortunate situation where I needed my garage door released due to an accident, which Precision was able to come out immediately the next day. Fast forward to receiving the new door and the install team was outstanding. They did a top notch job, the door is installed perfectly, the job site is cleaner than they started, and they made sure I was informed on how to take care of the door.
