This past Tuesday I spoke with a neighbor who told me that he had Precision Door Minnesota to his home to quiet a noisy garage door. He was most impressed with the service which prompted me to call Precision to address what we consider an irritatingly noisy garage door. James Magaard showed up this morning. James (Jim, Jamey?). He was impressively personable and professional. He conducted a thorough inspection of our garage door, then went over it with me, pointing out components that were worn to the point that replacement was advisable, others that were slightly worn, but had good life left, and others that could be left as is for now. He provided two estimates for two different repair scenarios, along with pros and cons of each. Once I made a selection, he took approximately 45 minutes to undertake and complete the repairs, then went over with me what had been done, and made suggestions for ongoing home self-maintenance. The garage door is now quiet. I could hardly be more pleased and impressed with the Precision operation and with Jack as the firm's field representative.

James arrived promptly at 8. He then took pictures . He was very thorough in explaining what he needed to do. It was bitterly cold on Tuesday!! He worked for almost 4 hours not coming in from the cold. He then spent time pairing the garage to my phone. He knew exactly what needed to be done. So grateful for the work he did. James Magaard did an excellent job in finding the source of the problem we were having with our garage door. The door didn’t want to go up all the way and he quickly discovered a broken spring was the cause. He repaired it in a timely manner and we were more than pleased! Also clearly communicated the options and the pricing and did excellent work. At the end of the day we opted for a new opener install and replacement of all of our garage door parts, which gives us the peace of mind that we shouldn't have any garage door issues for many years.

My neighbor recommended Precision Garage Door when the spring and cable broke on my garage door. I received top notch, excellent service beginning with the phone call to schedule my appointment through the completion of the work on my garage door. I was so happy that a technician, James, would be available to begin repairs so quickly! Step by step he thoroughly explained what he would be doing, beginning with surveying the damage, then presenting the options I had to choose from, and what the cost would be for each one. I really appreciated that James visually showed me the parts that were damaged. He did an awesome job of explaining each option and answered all of my questions. Once I decided on the option, James gave me an estimate of time to complete the work. When the work was completed, James showed me everything he had done, and I was amazed how perfectly the door was now operating! It has been a few days now since the work was done, and my garage door is operating so smoothly and quietly! Thank you James! You are an amazing technician! You are so professional and kind. Great job, done with Precision!! James,our Field Service Technician, was polite, knowledgeable, and fast. I had installed several garage openers myself years ago. He made this all look so easy, and I learned alot. He could tell just by looking at it that it was binding in one corner. He adjusted the rail and the opener pressure, and replaced the seals. Your technician, James Magaard, came to my house yesterday to look at my garage door opener, which was malfunctioning. Not only did James diagnose and fix the problem, he went above and beyond, inspecting the garage door, rails, and track. He even straightened out one of the rails, and greased the track, so the door would open and shut with less noise. James was informative and friendly. A total pro! I heard about Precision Garage Door on the Garage Logic podcast, and would whole-heartedly endorse them!
