This past Tuesday I spoke with a neighbor who told me that he had Precision Door Minnesota to his home to quiet a noisy garage door. He was most impressed with the service which prompted me to call Precision to address what we consider an irritatingly noisy garage door. James Magaard showed up this morning. James (Jim, Jamey?). He was impressively personable and professional. He conducted a thorough inspection of our garage door, then went over it with me, pointing out components that were worn to the point that replacement was advisable, others that were slightly worn, but had good life left, and others that could be left as is for now. He provided two estimates for two different repair scenarios, along with pros and cons of each. Once I made a selection, he took approximately 45 minutes to undertake and complete the repairs, then went over with me what had been done, and made suggestions for ongoing home self-maintenance. The garage door is now quiet. I could hardly be more pleased and impressed with the Precision operation and with Jack as the firm's field representative.

My garage door broke and I had a car full of groceries. I managed to get the door up but was afraid to close it. I saw an ad on tv the next morning for Precision Doors and it was like someone knew I needed help. I called and the repair man was here within 4 hours. My technician knew what to do and had broken springs replaced in about an hour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel like I was in good hands. Jameson came out within minutes of contacting Precision. Spent an hour fixing the sensor short/signal weakness, and thereafter, half a dozen other tightenings, lubrication and improvements. Extremely knowledgeable. Lots of good annual/routine advice for DIY door and unit maintenance yourself. Smart, professional, conscientious. All the things boomers like myself sometimes say the younger generations don't possess. They ought to meet Jameson! If you live in Eden Prairie, or SW 'burbs I'd ask for him personally.

My garage door opener broke at 7pm on a Sunday evening. Precision Garage was at my home by 7:50am Monday morning. Alex showed up and I had a little issue with getting the garage door open with a broken spring. It was the only access to get in the garage. He didn't hesitate and found a way to get the door open . I was given a couple options and I chose just to have the springs replaced. Alex was very professional and had my garage door in working condition in a very reasonable time. My first thought was to repair it myself. Looking up what the parts were going to cost and the extra tools needed for the job plus my time. It was a easy decision to call a professional. Plus this was on Labor day.

Precision did a great job helping us pick out and install our new garage doors. They look great. A good value and they make an immediate impact on how nice your house looks. Mitch and Rafael were awesome on the install process. They arrived right on time and within a few hours we had brand new doors installed and all keypads/remotes were working. A new garage door opener was also installed. Very friendly and professional guys. The process was very easy.

Originally called because my springs broke. I was a little leery at first since I had to go through 2 recorded messages before getting a Rep. But the Service Rep. Colton made up for it. He was at my door in 40 minutes. He surveyed the situation, pointed out that a few hinges were tearing and the rollers were blown (which I expected). I decided to change it all and put in a new opener since mine was over 25 years old. Colton was done and cleaned up in a little over 2 hours. Great service! To top it off, when he called me out to test the unit, there was a pronounced squeak near the end. Honestly, I would have attributed it to new equipment but he spent another 5 minutes replacing a roller and aligning the track. Above and beyond.

Chad (who should get an Employee of the Year award) came to our house on a Saturday afternoon and, in a very short time, solved ALL of our garage door remote control problems (we have lots of vehicles and lots of remotes and we struggled with trying to program our cars to open the garage doors; the door pads (on the outside of the garage) stopped working - anyway, it was a mass of trouble! Chad straightened it all out, lubricated our doors (now they HUM instead of GROAN) and while doing so he regaled us with tales of his pool playing!! (IF he comes out, ask him to show you the video of a CRAZY game-winning shot he made!!!) The price was fantastic and everything was quickly done and it felt like we spent 1/2 hour with a friend. We HIGHLY recommend Precision... and CHAD!

Scheduling appointment was easy and timely. I actually got same day appointment. Technition was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He described the different garage door openers they had and the differences between them but did not push me to choose the highest priced unit. He let me choose based on my needs. Installed with an hour and the tech spent time going over everything after it was installed and insured I was satisfied. Great experience!
