Gregg, our technician was amazing and informative. He gave us options and described What we absolutely needed to do as well as other maintenance he could perform. We had him provide all the maintenance- he cleaned up after he was done and the garage door works better than ever. It has much life left it in! Thanks Gregg!!

After our garage door refused to lift, we detected a broken spring and a wheel that had jumped the track. A quick call was made to Precision Garage Door (who we have used before). They offered an appointment time for the next morning, first thing. That morning I received a text at 8:10am that the technician was on his way. Upon arrival, Gregg inspected the entire door and tracks. The inspection revealed that part of the track had worked itself loose, the wheels on our 10+ year old door were rusting and worn out, and of course the spring was shot. Gregg provided an estimate on the spot and, after approval, completed all the work in about an hour. The door is now quiet and operating perfectly. Gregg was professional and a skilled technician. It was a pleasure working with him and Precision Garage Door. When garage door service is needed, they are and will continue be our first call.

Had a garage door that appeared to be binding because of the unusual noise made when opening and closing. Greg came out the same day and quickly assessed and corrected the problem in just a few minutes with no charge. Precision has always been very reliable and always provided the best service one would expect. Definitely recommended for new garage doors or correcting problems for existing doors.

On Sunday April 7, 2024, the torsion spring for our main garage door had broken and I needed to get the garage door fixed so my wife could get to work on Monday. I checked for any services available to make the repair. I found Precsion Door had several 5-star ratings and I decided to call them, figuring that it would not be until Monday the phone would be answered. To my surprise, someone answered, and I explained my situation. The receptionist stated that they would have someone come out on a Sunday. I then asked if this was considered an emergency call, I was told no it was a regular workday for them. Shortly after I booked the repair with Precsion Door, I received an email message stating that Gregg Traylor would arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. I received a phone call from Gregg stating that he was done early with his current appointment early and was on his way to our residence. Gregg arrived at 1:00 pm, he promptly looked over what all was wrong with the garage door other than the torsion spring. He pointed out several items that should be serviced but told me I could do only the torsion spring replacement today. I chose only to replace the torsion spring. Once the work was completed, Gregg explained to me when the garage door was originally installed the torsion spring installed was rated for 300 pounds and the door actually should have had a torsion spring for 350 pounds. He installed the correct spring. Throughout the entire process, Gregg was extremely professional and friendly taking all the time to explain what he had observed that needed to be serviced at some point. He also emailed pictures of things he observed so I can decide when to do these things. Precsion Door’s prices were not out of line, and I would consider using them again for my garage door services!
