Garage door came off the tracks, bent everything up, and could not even be closed. They were out within hours, even bumping us up when there was a cancellation. Omg this was THE best experience EVER!! Brian explained all our options , giving us all the information we needed to make our decision on what we needed/wanted to do for repairs. I will start off by saying Jameson was great! He is the tech that came out to my initial problem. Probably one of the most thorough customer service representatives I’ve ever had. He informed me that I needed a new bottom panel on my garage and that someone would be in contact with me to quote the panel and installation. He left and my main garage is now out of service. That was on a Sunday. Never heard from anyone that week. I had called other places for quotes while I waited for precision to call me back because I figured it would be expensive. Friday I called to get an update and the representative on the phone, Miley I believe, said she missed it and readily admitted that it was her fault. The door has a 5-6 week lead time. I asked if there would be any compensation since they now added another week onto the install for my main two stall garage which I can’t use. She simply said no and couldn’t understand why they should compensate me. She said she didn’t understand because they still would have to install it and ship it?!?!?! Her reasoning made no sense. She didn’t even contact someone higher up to explain what happened for permission to compensate, she just simply said no. I told her if they weren’t willing to work with me that I would have to go to another company and she was ok with that. This is my first and last time I will be using precision door. If your near Scott county, I would try Action Overhead Door. I’m not saying the company as a whole is bad, but the way this was handled without even an apology or any consideration of making it better was horrible customer service.

This was our first time calling the company for a service request. Our experience with Precision Door MN team and services was great. They placed our service in the schedule. We got a text confirmation and a phone call from the technician to confirm his arrival. He assessed the work needed and solved our garage problem. The job (tension cord and rollers) was done in less than 30 minutes. The people who represent the company over the phone and in person were courteous, professional and helpful. We are satisfied with the work done and highly recommend this company.

We called Precision Garage Door Service knowing we had a lot wrong with our garage door. Chuck was able to educate us why there was so much wear and tear on our garage door and why a lot of the parts of our door were rusted and over worked. In addition to the age and wear tear, our garage door opener stopped working. Chuck helped us understand what we needed to get done today versus what could get done in the future as well as a breakdown of price and services. He was done within a few hours and our garage door is working perfectly and silently!

Precicion met every expectation. I had a 2 PM- 4 PM appointment time the Brian B. was there exactly at 2. He diagnosed the problem and checked over my door. My opener was 26 years old so after discussing my options I decided to purchase a new opener. Brian was done in an hour or so, reviewed all that he did (he lubed all the rollers and aligned the door), and demonstrated the operation of the opener. Perfect!!

The good- you guys were very responsive and came out in a timely manner The bad- we got a quote for fixing the door and a quote for getting a new door. We needed to check with our association regarding what is and is not permitted. It took a few days to do that. After we checked I emailed the person who came out at the email address on his business card and asked if we could see a detailed breakdown of what went into the estimate (which seemed a bit high) We never heard back and so we have now moved on to another solution.
