Called Precision at the recommendation of a family member when one of my garage door cables broke on a freezing December day. Chong came out right away, was very friendly and professional, and did a quick overall safety inspection of the door (standard practice when they service a door). He gave me a quote and had some good recommendations, but wasn’t pushy at all. He completed the necessary repair, did some routine maintenance, and was done in probably 30 mins. Could not have been a smoother process - would absolutely work with them again.

I managed to knock something loose on one of the rails of our garage door. Precision's tech came the next day, early after confirming that was OK, had it diagnosed and fixed in half an hour. Not cheap, but the peace of mind is so welcome. He did offer an up-sell of some brackets and wheels but that was easy to decline. No need at this time.
We are happy we could be of service at your time of need. Being there when you need us with most parts available at the time of each appointment is a quality most appreciate. I thank you for sharing your experience with us and others.

Chad was right on time and did a thorough exam of my garage door. He explained what apparently went wrong and why my door didn’t work with the opener. He explained my options and I’m the one who asked for a new opener with all the bells and whistles. Being 80 and no one here but me I didn’t want to always have to call friends for help and with my current opener well over 20 years old I chose to go new. He explained how everything works and even set my car's home button for me. I really appreciate everything you as a company and Chad as the expert did!

I needed help with a stuck garage door and Jonathan Zwart was there in less than three hours. Jonathan also checked everything and gave me several hints to make the door work more efficiently and to prolong the doors life. I was very impressed especially when the original garage door installers said they would be out five days after I called. This was inspite of me telling them my wife had just had knee replacement and if there was an emergency... I'm glad I called Precision.

Our garage door broke last week and Jonathan was a great technician who explained EVERYTHING going on with that door and the pluses and minuses of the current set up. His suggestions for repairs plus additional tune-ups were on point and should extend the life of the garage door. Throughout the experience I've learned a few new things about our garage door maintenance and what to look for in case some new problems pop up. I found Precision in one of those flier we get in the mail. It was for Excelsior but they cover most of the metro area. I was very pleased with the speed that Precision was able to get out and fix the garage door that was stuck in the open position. I was trying to get ready for the holidays and had a lot to do when we were stuck with the door problem. Jonathan got out to our place that very afternoon and was very thorough and fixed our problem very quickly and got me on my way. I was so thankful. I was very happy with the price too. Well worth it.

RE: Repair Adjustment 11/9/22 We had our overhead door become out of adjustment for some reason after a spring replacement by Precision in March 2022. Jonathan Zwart arrived soon after our call and did such an excellent job in adjustment that we commented that the door has never worked so well. Ever. That was a month ago and the door continues to be so quiet and so smooth in operation that we are very pleased. Mr. Zwart did a great job and reflects well on Precision Door Service. Precision Garage Door's video ad creates a certain set of expectations: technicians with superior diagnostic capability, trucks fully stocked with high quality parts, problems resolved on the spot. That was exactly my experience with my tech, Alex. I will also add that he was on time, completed the job in the time he had estimated, in addition to making the repairs, he checked, adjusted and lubed my door, and he picked up after himself, leaving my garage as clean as if he was never there. My only complaint, and this is not on Alex, is that their bill included a $14 fuel surcharge--with gas prices below $3/gallon and still falling, it is time for fuel surcharges to go away.

After I ran into the garage door backing out this morning, our technician Jonathan arrived on time, (actually early) quickly evaluated evaluated the fix and presented me with several options. He was very thorough and explained all options very clearly. He was not doing a high pressure sell to do anything more than we wanted. He then rehung and fixed the door better than my expectations. We did a complete checkout at the end and he was on his way and I was happy. I will definitely contact Precision for our next garage door need.

I called on a Friday morning to have a technician come and look at my garage door opener, by 10 am they had someone out at my house assessing the issue.
