I needed a company who could fix my door immediately. They were so responsive and Shawn, the technician, was extremely professional, efficient, and personable. He explained the problems and various solutions without trying to oversell the project. In a time when it seems to be increasingly difficult to find reputable companies with fair pricing and knowledgeable, dependable employees, this company was a breath of fresh air. I definitely recommend them, Shawn specifically, for all your garage door needs! I will also add that based on my recent experience with an appliance repairman I found on Thumbtack, I would avoid any contact with Thumbtack as I don't think they do any vetting whatsoever of companies they recommend, and you're likely to get badly burned.

My garage door spring and support beam decided to break and pull out of the wall at 9pm on Thursday night. I called several companies and received long lead times. I was able to get Precision out by around 10AM Friday morning and garage door back in action by noon. The spring was broke in two sections and support beam pulled out of the wall. Adam was good at explaining, didn’t pressure, advised what was needed to repair and had it all completed within a short period of time. I was very grateful for the quick help and back in action. I don’t know what is reasonable as I am not a handy or mechanically driven, so it was nice to be felt like they had an honest and fair assessment and get back and running quickly!

The technician was very friendly, that was a positive. However, to fix my spring cost me $956.00 which seemed ridiculous, but I needed it done. When I spoke to my neighbor who had the same situation less than a year ago, he didn’t even pay half my cost. I should have shopped around, my bad. Before using this company, I’d get quotes elsewhere.

I have used Precision three times now for garage issues. It’s not cheap but what is nowadays. I don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off when I deal with them. They give you kind of a “good, better, best” quote and you just choose the level of repairs you want. I had a guy named Adam come out, very friendly and professional. He broke down all the work and answered a bunch of questions I had about other fixes I was thinking about. I would have given him a tip but I didn’t have cash, just some tomatoes I had just picked so if Precision sees this let him know, I got some tomatoes if he wants them. Otherwise they have always done the job for me, quick service, the work is great, they hire good people. As long as they are fixing garage doors that’s who I will be calling to fix mine.

They were very timely and quick to fix my problem. My only complaint would be that a simple $2 part turned into a push for the full replacement of a perfectly good garage door opener. I’m sure the techs are trained to upsell, but it was an obvious ploy to try and get a customer to commit to a much more expensive service using subtle scare tactics.

Spent more time talking to me about how to maintain the door, the reason for the fix and what not to do. Excellent service. As a well informed DIYer I would not have thought the fix applied would correct the problem. It was all "physics"!
