This is the second time I have utilized Precision for service on our garage door. They have exceeded my expectations both times. We had 3 Garage Door Companies visit our house. Precision was by far and away the most professional, reliable, and trushworthy of the three. In addition the technician stayed and did the work right then and there. The others all gave various reasons why the work could not be done for a few weeks. Great Service.

Great job! Garage door failed in the evening and tech was here by early morning (in snow storm). Technician Jon called prior to arrival and texted his pic so you know who is showing up. He did a great job on repairs and was very efficient and professional. Highly recommended.

Was having intermittent problem with an old garage door opener. Figured it was time for a new opener. Rudy, the service tech, was able to correct the problem, gave us options to upgrade to a new opener, but was very honest and said he thought the old one was working fine. While I was at Home Depot a couple of weeks ago I met Tom, the owner of Precision Door Service. I was closing on my townhouse in a couple of weeks and we talked about garage door openers. Tom was very friendly and more than happy to take the time to speak with me and answer all my questions. I talked to the sellers about the garage door opener at closing. They said it was the original, which means over 15 years old. The garage door opener was extremely noisy and the chain drive was over tight. With the current condition of the existing garage door opener and wanting a MyQ compatible garage door opener, I called PDS. To my surprise, I was about to get a next day appointment. The technician, Iam, arrived right on time. Ian got right to work and checked everything out. In addition to the new opener, Ian found some other items that needed to be addressed and presented me with 3 different quote. Each quote listed (1) Everything, (2) Opener and items that needed to be replaced now for safe and proper operation and some other items that would become a problem soon, (3) Opener and just the items that needed to be replaced right now. He didn't just say these items needed to be replaced, he actually showed me each issue and explained it in great detail. I opted for the first quote as I wanted everything to be in the best condition possible.The new opener was installed and all the issues taken care of in a short period of time. Ian was a pleasure to work with and when he left everything was in perfect condition. The garage door opener and garage door are now much quieter. I want to mention that the openers PDS installs are not the same models you can buy in the big box stores, they are a higher quality. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service to anyone who needs a new garage door opener, new garage door or service of an existing opener or door.

Precision did an excellent job replacing broken springs and installed new cables and end bearings. Their technician arrived on time and completed his repair very efficiently. I was out of town and my husband called and said the garage door wont open. My home warranty called Precision Door, while the parts were not covered they were great. I asked for an emergency appointment to get my husband's car out for work, and they arrived a few hours later, fixed it, explained everything, were polite, professional, and quick. They cleaned everything up, went over the warranty, showed me what to watch for in the future. Devin did a great job, I highly reccomend.

One of our torsion springs broke on Monday afternoon. I contacted Precision Door Service and the phone was answered by a live person and they scheduled us for a repair the next morning. From the start to finish, PrecisionDoorMN was a great company to work with. The company was assigned by our home warranty company. I spoke with Selena who was extremely helpful and understanding. Phenomenal service! Called them on a friday night and had a tech here by 10:00 am the next day. Very courteous, professional and polite service tech. Fixed my snapped cable to get us by until we got a new garage door.

The installer was okay. The problem I have is the strategy around trying to sell me things I don’t need when I called to get my garage door fixed. Do not try contacting me with an apology because that doesn’t change the strategy. I get that you have to make money, but using scare tactics to try to get me to replace working parts is incredibly disappointing.
