I have received an email for six days in a row asking for a review. My garage door spring broke. They came out same day. The cost was going to be $800. Plus I was told my rollers should be replaced with bearing type. If I wanted everything looked at and made proper, it would cost between $1500-2000. I got it repaired Monday by another firm for $380. The second firm lubed all the rollers, adjusted the door with the opener. Precision did however open the door so I could get my car out. I do not like being repeatedly asked for reviews, do this is what happens. Sometimes a phone call would be better, I know it sounds so old fashioned, but then this honest review would then not be all over Google.

We had problems resetting the pin to our keypad. Ryan Barnfeild came out just an hour after we contacted tech support concerning the issue. He helped us reset the pin as well as set up the phone app so we can monitor our system . Excellent friendly service. He did not even charge us since we had our system installed through this company. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door.

Disappointed in my appointment today especially since Garage Logic highly recommends Precision Garage Door. I noted online, during reserving the service call, that I had a broken spring and the cost presented for the repair was 3 times higher than another reputable garage repair company. When I said I didn’t want the repair I was charged $85 for a service call to tell me my spring was broke which I noted in my online reservation and he tried to upsell me on a new door. To top it off, the technician was on his phone for half the time he was here. I would not recommend Precision Garage Door.

We did want to offer some clarification. When our technician learned you were concerned about the initial estimate, he provided a second option at roughly one-third of the original cost. This option would have addressed your primary issue and ensured the door was safe and functional, though it would not have resolved some of the additional concerns he noted during his inspection. Our technician’s goal was simply to make sure your door was safe and reliable. He also shared that the conversation about replacing the door began when you asked about the rust that was present. He mentioned general replacement options only in response to your question, and no estimate for a new door was ever created—so there was no intent or effort to pressure you into an upsell. We genuinely value your feedback, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify. If there’s anything we can do to help make this right or address any remaining concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Our GM has reached out to discuss as well, but has not received a return call, please reach out when you have a moment. Thank you!

Both Mike and Patrick were professional and knowledgeable. Mike made sure that we were getting the most out of our home warranty plan and ended up helping to save us money on the repairs. I had a very positive experience with James, a Precision Garage Door technician today My opener on the outside of the garage door has not worked for the last two days after being trouble-free for 8 years. I called Monday and James came over on Tuesday. He said it would be a simple fix, a reset and would be a regular $85 trip charge He showed me how to do the reset so I could fix the issue myself in the future. No pressure, no upsale. Nice guy who did a job well.

Fantastic! They were able to come same-day when my torsion spring broke. Not only did they replace the springs, but the visit also includes a full check on the conditions of the rest of the door components, so I opted to replace the torsion cables and vertical track rails too since the old ones were incredibly rusty and likely to fail soon anyway. Even with the extra replacements, the whole visit took under an hour. James was professional and courteous, great to work with!
