I called Precision on Monday. They asked if I was available same day (I wasn't), then Chuck came out the next morning, looked at the door and its opener, explained my options, then fixed everything that needed fixing quickly and efficiently. Everything was great!

Our garage door (installed 1989) has been acting up a bit over the last few days. Today we thought we should get it checked out. I looked at the reviews for Precision and saw the great ratings and I now understand why! The woman who helped me on the phone was amazing. She got someone scheduled (today). Chuck our technician was fantastic. Excellent communication about arrival time, and explaining what was going on. Gave us a couple of options for what absolutely needed to be done and what would be a good idea to fix right now. We ended up just getting it all done and everything was great. Chuck was very congenial, and, I'm sure, an expert. However, I was quoted something in the low $200s to replace the spring on our single garage door, but when he saw the door, the price went up to over $600. The customer service person did say "starting" at $200, but even after asking what it might be, did not indicate anything close to $600. I paid the $85 service fee (which is waived if they do the work) and thanked him for coming. Although I'm sure no one intends this, and I did explain what kind of door it is, it feels like a classic bait and switch.

Soon as Chuck, our service person came in he saw the main problem and after inspection told us all that needed to be done. Before any work was done he gave an estimate of the cost. Great service. Technician Chuck was here 30 minutes after I called Precision Door. I had a broken spring and both vehicles were stuck inside. Chuck did a thorough inspection of all the hardware and had me choose what I wanted done. He got right to work and completed the job in 45 minutes.

Chuck came out to my house last week to install a New garage opener! He was knowledgeable and courteous to me. He definitely exceeded my expectations! The job took about an hour and he disposed of my old opener. The opener is working great! I love the bright light in my garage! I love having a wall keypad, if needed! I also love the Lifetime Warranty associated with this product! I noticed my coupon advertised that this company was "A neighborly company". Quick service, called at 1:45 new springs installed by 2:45. Chuck was knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all my questions. Door is working great. Price was a bit high $690 for two springs installed. I can buy these springs for $240, I'm sure your cost is less. When I called to make appointment I asked for ballpark estimate. I was told something like $225 installed. Well that was for one spring. I have two springs and a heavy door so my springs are more expensive. A couple simple questions for customers [i.e. # of springs and type of door] would allow you to give much better estimates.

Garage door came off the tracks, bent everything up, and could not even be closed. They were out within hours, even bumping us up when there was a cancellation. Talked over a couple of options from full replacement to quick repair to keep our garage secured for now with zero pressure. I will absolutely be using Precision when I replace the door next year.
