Our garage door recently experienced a broken torsion spring and needed to be replaced. I contacted Precision Garage Door and they sent a service tech out the next day. Our service tech, Chad Magaard, was prompt, professional, and did a fantastic job replacing the torsion spring and preforming routine maintenance to the garage door that was needed. I would highly recommend Chad and Precision Garage Door for any garage door repairs.

this is the second time I have used precision and have been very happy with the service both times. Chad responded to a same day request and arrived within an hour of my call, had all the necessary parts in his truck and reviewed the cost of each task clearly allowing me to choose those I needed most. he and his team were polite and seemed genuinely thankful for my business - unusual in this day and time.

Door was repaired but cost was extremely high Tech-Chad came out and repaired door -around 5 hundred Door worked- figured ok needed it done Four days later power outage in area due to storm,tried to open door manually- would not work called and got another tech Bret he came out and could not get it to operate manually.He tried many things but with Little success- I lost it - he worked on it but still no success so he proposed that for $500.00 he would send another Tech the following day to fix it Next day Chad shows up and fixes door for $500.00 So for $1000.00 dollars, I get my door fixed—— Question. What did Chad do in 1st repair that caused the door to not open manually. Was attempted repair measures done during Bert’s work cause higher cost to get door operable. I have heard good reviews about Prescision but this doesn’t sound like good business practices
Thank you for letting us know of your experience. I'm sorry it is less than stellar, but letting us know is valuable as it helps us improve. We have had a chance to look over this situation and do see that on our first visit that many items were causing issues in our Condition Report and and estimate was given to address all of the issues, yet the repair authorized only addressed part of the problem. The next visit was from our Manager, who tried to make it work, but the rest of the repairs were necessary as well. We are sorry that you are not happy with the way this all worked out, but hope that you are happy with the end result. Chad was thorough and explained recommended maintenance as well as repairing our issue. Another company with "free" estimates told us we needed a new unit & parts which was a scam or totally inept worker on their part. I'd recommend Precision Garage Door in a heartbeat. Chad (who should get an Employee of the Year award) came to our house on a Saturday afternoon and, in a very short time, solved ALL of our garage door remote control problems (we have lots of vehicles and lots of remotes and we struggled with trying to program our cars to open the garage doors; the door pads (on the outside of the garage) stopped working - anyway, it was a mass of trouble! Chad straightened it all out, lubricated our doors (now they HUM instead of GROAN) and while doing so he regaled us with tales of his pool playing!! (IF he comes out, ask him to show you the video of a CRAZY game-winning shot he made!!!) The price was fantastic and everything was quickly done and it felt like we spent 1/2 hour with a friend. We HIGHLY recommend Precision... and CHAD!

Hello, we had a spring on our garage door break last night. I called first thing in the morning for service. The receptionist was extremely helpful and polite. She was able to book a time between 8-10 am. I was soon notified that Chad would be arriving soon. He showed up a little after 8:00, showed me what had happened, and provided me a detailed listing of what he recommended, as well as the total cost. He was able to quickly fix all issues, and was gone by 9:30-9:44. I can’t thank you enough for the quick response, as well as the excellent work Chad provided! Thanks!

We had a garage door spring fail early in the evening, I called Precision right away and they were able to schedule me for first thing the next morning. I got a call and a text when they were on their way and they showed up in the time window I was given. Upon arriving I got a detailed report of the overall status of the garage door and a breakdown of the estimate to repair. Great service with a lifetime warranty on the replaced parts! Garage door opener was acting funny would open and close on its own.
