Positive 1. Easy to schedule 2. Technician arrived on time Negative 1. No condition report was provided 2. Quotes were discussed over the phone and were not emailed before the work was done. 3. The service fee on the credit card was not communicated earlier 4. The parts roughly cost more than twice what is listed online. Overall, it was expensive. I have the condition report from the previous visit, where all components that were replaced are listed as green. I'm not sure if things need to be totally replaced in a span of two years. End Bearing Plate 12 ga w/Bearing LH - The most expensive item on Amazon is $23, and it was priced at $71 PDS 234x35 - 1-3/4" ID RHW SP Green Powder Coated High Cycle Torsion Spring. Similarly, the Most expensive was $129, which was priced at $330.

Great service from Precision Garage Door. Had a cable come off my door, which ended up bending a couple of the tracks. Technician was very professional -- did a thorough inspection with pictures and then gave me an estimate with a couple of different options at different price points. Completed the work (on a Saturday) in less than an hour, cleaned up well, and took photos of the repairs. Would definitely hire them again for garage door repair!

We were originally told that the door we wanted was in stock and could be installed in a couple of days. After we agreed to the purchase of the door and made the payment of the first half, then he informed us that it may be two or three weeks, as they had a prior contract to install 200 and some doors in a development, while we had a door stuck open leaving our garage wide open to theft. We had to find a way to get the door closed. When they came to install, they did a quick job and we were happy with the installation and the new garage door. However, someone on the installation team was vaping inside our garage, which is dangerous to someone with COPD. They did not ask permission to do so. Maybe they think that vaping is not harmful to others but it can be. I find it very unprofessional for service company employees to vape or smoke or any other behaviors that can be harmful to the health of the customer. I also received a notification from Precision Door Company that after having paid my deposit with a credit card, I now had the ability to pay the balance online via ACH to "save the credit card processing fee". However, the balance showing included the 4% processing fee charged on the entire amount of the garage door installation. So how would now paying the balance via ACH save me money? I was already charged the entire processing fee. Maybe other people don't take the time to figure that out?

Pricing was similar to other quotes but we went with Precision because we liked the sales rep better - Chris was really nice. Installation was about 3 weeks after we agreed to go forward and the installation team was awesome even though we had a few issues that was not really the teams fault. Overall glad with our choice and love our new doors.

I had Alex come out and check out my garage door which was opening crooked to the right and sometimes hitting on upper door pulley. The door would stop and not open unless I tried it several times. Alex said there wasn't much he could do but said I could put some washers on the top roller to keep it from pulling to the side. He gave me the washers. After he left, I tried to put washers. I then noticed the top support bracket screw had ripped through the sheet metal and wasn't supported. I drilled another hole, put in a new bolt and now it works. I think it's something they should have caught.

Thank you to Garage Logic for the great recommendation of Precision Garage Door! We had a heavy, 2-door with a snapped cable that prevented the door from closing. It happened on a Saturday. I went online and booked appointment for Monday 12-2pm with Adam. He arrived early and had everything fixed within 1 hour. He put in new cable, switched some rollers out and installed parts that won't rust, which is what we definitely needed. Thanks Precision, job well done!
