Who knew garage doors needed maintenance to keep running? I suppose I should have known, but I’m a desk jockey. “Do what you do best, and pay others to do the rest”. I needed all new parts as most of the parts were rusted and shot. The technician explained everything and I didn't feel pressured into replacing extra parts. I bit the bullet and replaced it all. Home ownership can be a painful life lesson, but it’s all a learning experience. The repair went fast and operates much quieter now. I will make sure to lube the spots in the future.
