I am so disappointed at our experience with precision. We have had friends use this company and had zero complaints. And we were very pleased with how fast they were able to come look at our garage door. If you need a repair, these are the guys. The problems started when we ordered the door. We recieved the invoice and paid the bill. That was the last communication I recieved from them. All other communication occured after I called all the numbers I could find and left messages and told they would have someone call me. Finally I had to start calling the 888 number to get any answers. All they would say is "I am sorry this was your experience." And "we are sorry for the inconvenience" but then would continue to not communicate and never tried to make it up to us. We are over 5 weeks out from when we placed the order and were told it would be 2 to 4. Again, if there had been more communication and honesty upfront and during, this would not be a negative review. When you pay 6k+ for doors, you want to know when they will arrive.

I called Precision Garage Door in the morning and Gregg was at my home in the afternoon. Gregg did an inspection, explained what he was going to do and quoted me a reasonable price. I stayed outside and watched and he explained everything he was doing. He even gave me some tips and tricks. Gregg was great and you definitely have my business in the future. I am not a garage door knowledgeable person. I had a problem with it not opening & closing consistently Chuck came out the same day & and fixed it. He was friendly & explained the logic behind my problem and his necessary steps to correct it. I was on the spot for a >$1000 repair ( replace both springs). It now works perfectly. But after taking the time to review what it should have cost (2025) I feel iI was taken advantage of. Averages range for $400 - $700 ( worst case). I would NOT recommend them and after reading other reviews I too believe he upsold me when I needed help.

My wife and I returned home from a weekend trip to find our primary garage door failing to open due to a broken torsion spring. At the recommendation of the Garage Logic podcast, I went online and booked an appointment for a garage door repair with Precision Door MN. An hour or so before my scheduled appointment time, I received a notification the Technician Bryce would be arriving as scheduled, which he did. After a complete inspection of the complete garage door assembly and opener, Bryce reviewed the results and gave me repair options for the safety critical items, general items needing repair and some optional/recommended upgrades. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, only the facts and costs for the various repair options. After making my choice, Bryce made the repairs, performed a basic garage door tune-up, adjusted my opener and reviewed the complete operation after repair all within an hour. Overall, the experience with Precision Door was positive and I'll definitely contact them again if/when I have another garage door failure or if I need an upgrade.

Showed up on time, very friendly, gave clear and concise answers before and after the work was quoted/completed, did a thorough inspection of all components and included actual photos of the parts to provide justification for the suggested or required repairs, completed the work in about 1 hour without needing to schedule a future appointment or go somewhere to get parts/supplies, provided explanation of the work completed after the fact to prove what had been done, offered an unbeatable warranty. Would recommend to anyone who needs work done for their garage door. I will use them again if the need arises. Extremely satisfied!
