Called the company at around 10 am because I had broken a garage door spring. I had an afternoon appointment setup for the same day and Chris successfully completed the job that afternoon. Very happy with their service!

Really frustrated at my experience with Precision Door Services. We had our garage door break and become inoperable, and so started gathering quotes for a replacement. PDS provided us with a quote and a timeline of 3 weeks to delivery and install. This seemed reasonable as I wouldn’t expect them to have every possible door configuration in-stock, so we expected a bit of a wait. Here’s where the issue starts. They collect 60% up front, again, not a problem. And then? Silence. No word for weeks until I finally call at the three week mark to inquire on scheduling an install. They informed me that the door was not in yet, but that they expected it within the next couple days. I wait, no update. I call back 2 days later only to be told that our door is in fact another 2-3 weeks out for delivery. So now we’re near double an already generous delivery window, and no firm installation date has been set. When pressed they essentially agreed to pencil us in for a date at the 5 week mark, with no guarantee that it would actually be delivered by then. I suspect they didn’t actually order our door when we first paid them, and that’s why our timeline has doubled. They have not once reached out to us without us calling first. No apologies to us for doubling our timeline at all... they have money in-hand so I guess no further need to earn our business. I will update this review once we actually receive our door, whenever that may be, with the experience of the installation.

My garage door cable broke and trapped my cars inside my garage. Within 3 hours, it was fixed! Devon was great; kind, gracious and quick. He answered all my questions. I don't know if the price was comparable to other companies, but I wanted to stay local in Stillwater. Responsiveness is important to me. The technician Devon was great, he did a good job assessing the situation we were having with our garage door told us all the things that were options for us to do and explained it thoroughly. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment for someone to come out and look at my garage. Devon called me before he arrived and was very prompt. He was very friendly and respectful. He immediately knew the issue, within 5 minutes of his arrival. He still took the time to look over the rest of the garage door and do an inspection. He then gave me an estimate for our garage door that was very reasonable! Within 15 minutes of the estimate, our garage door was fixed and operational. He was AMAZING!!! Thank you Devon!!

Eli the technician showed up right on time. He was very friendly and professional as he explained how he was going to assess our current garage door openers and all the components of our garage doors. After he completed that assessment, he clearly explained what he suggested to address the issue we had with our garage door openers and why. I decided to go with new garage door openers for both our doors. Eli did an excellent job installing door openers and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly he got it done. After completing the install, he did a fantastic job explaining all the features and what to do if the openers didn't seem to be working properly or showed any error codes. Eli was an absolutely fantastic technician, and all the customer service reps I spoke with at Precision Door Service were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend anyone to use Precision Door Service to replace their garage door openers. I expect I'll be replacing my garage doors in the next year or two, and based on this experience I plan to have Precision Door Service perform that work as well.

The staff at Precision has been such a joy to work with. I cast a wide net when looking for quotes, and they were quick, fair, efficient, and pleasant. They worked hard to make special accommodations for me since I need to retrofit a new door in a very old garage (and shorter opening size). I won't receive the door and have the installation until mid-October due to a custom order, so pending that experience- BUT from what I have seen so far, I'm sure that will go off without a hitch.
