Troy figured out the problem right away. The socket didn't work. He connected an extension cord to the opener and the door worked. He also alined the electric eye do that it would word consistently. He sprayed the rollers so they would run smoother.

It went well. My problem required no parts to fix just labor and knowledge. The young man was personable and with some advice over the phone he was able to re-program the unit and it started to work as it should. I did not know these units could be so touchy in terms of keeping everything oiled etc. When people ask about garage doors I say talk to Precision because they don't just install, they back up their work when needed. Troy did a fantastic job! Somehow fitting new springs into the tiny space above our 1930's garage doors and did it without killing or maiming anybody. He even seemed to keep a cheerful outlook the whole time. (Had I been foolish enough to attempt the repairs myself, I'd have shown some seriously poor attitude and been swearing right up until a torsion spring smacked me in the face.) The end result of Troy's expertise- it's so quiet we can't really even hear the door open, now.

I tried to fix my garage door myself and ended up making things worse. I was convinced the project would take two people, but Josh alone was able to fix it. Josh was incredibly helpful and communicative from start to finish. He explained what he would be looking for to build a quote and how he would fix my garage door. Once completed, Josh showed me his work and all the new replacement parts. Josh thoroughly answered my afterwards and made sure I was aware of my warranty. I highly recommend Josh from Precision Door.

They were able to get me an appointment within a couple of hours of me calling. Our technician communicated well about when he would arrive. Once he did arrive, he was friendly and professional. He was able to get me quote on the repair I needed, and also made some suggestions on some other things he thought should be taken care of, but was not pushy about doing the extra things. He was in and out in just over an hour. Very happy with the service.

Precision did a great job. Called in the morning for a non-operational garage door and they were out to my house within two hours. My tech (Joshua) was announced in a text before arriving, he arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue and proceeded with the repair. Work was done quickly and Joshua was an all around great person. Precision will get my business next time as well! Nice to have companies like this so that "calling around" and wasting my valuable time is not necessary!
