Our spring broke on a Sunday morning. I found your company on the internet as a local provider that was open. I called and spoke to a young lady, she explained my options and that there was an available appointment. Was that a plus and without emergency service fees. Your tech Colton called ahead, arrived on time, explained everything and then took care of it. Excellent service all the way around. I would recommend your company to anyone in need.

I honestly can't say how happy I am with them! My garage door broke at 0630 and I placed a phone call around 0700 to their office. Yasmin? or Jasmine? (I'm sorry I'm bad at names) answered and immediately was helpful, sympathetic, and got me scheduled same day very quickly. The technician Terrance was professional and saw the problems right away and had a quote ready for me in no time. Repairs were done quickly and he showed me everything when done. I'm very happy to have a working garage door and peace of mind with the 3 year warranty as well.

The fact that you do not charge extra for Sunday repairs was important to us. Also, you are on Angie's List and BBB rated. Chad, our technician was so kind and friendly, and fixed our door quickly. He knew exactly what to do without any problems and did not try to do more than was needed, such as putting in new rollers for the door. Thank you for being an honest company with honest employees!

I must begin by saying Thank You to Chad, our Tech, and to the company for being so responsive in assigning Chad for our repairs. Not only did he come today, a Saturday, but the needed work was assessed and clearly explained along with the cost. Also completed was a 25-point inspection of both doors so we can plan for routine replacement and maintenance. A friendly professional tech, replacement parts readily available on the truck, and clean efficient work completed in a short time, all top-notch. Do not hesitate to call this company. This was our first door repair needed and it could not have been easier. They are our go-to company now!

Garage spring broke Friday afternoon. Couldn't find one at Lowe's, Home Depot, or Menards. Called precision and told them what happened. The had Chad the service tech out at 8am SHARP. He did a quick, clean, accurate job. Walked through the inspection, identified some other minor problems found, and had the repair done within an hour!

I am very satisfied with the service from Precision Garage Door. I had a lift cable on my garage door come off on one side and the door fell down trapping our car in the garage. I called Precision and Chad came the next morning. After assessing the problem, he told me what he was going to do, what it would cost and I left him to it. A short time later he had the door up and running again. Chad is an easy going kind of guy and did excellent work. The total charges for the job were reasonable for the work preformed. I will call Precision the next time I have a garage door problem.

UPDATE: I originally gave 3 stars because of some pricing issues that I felt were misrepresented by the person on the phone when I asked about how they charge for their services. I received a call from customer support very quickly; they seemed to genuinely take my feedback seriously, and even refunded some of the charges that weren't clearly explained. Definitely changed my mind, so I'm updating to 5 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Summary: Great technician. Great installation. Poor pricing clarity. Very overpriced parts. The technician, Colton, was excellent. He did a great a job with the installation, and was very helpful walking me through each step of the repair he was going to perform. His original quote on the springs I needed was one size too small, so the final bill was $14 more than he quoted; not a big deal there, though. 5-star service from him overall. I am deducting one star for the presentation of the pricing model from the company, however. When I called to get an idea of what they charge, they said "there's a $75 installation fee, but this is waived with the repair." While this is technically true, they charge a $65 "lube and tune" fee, which wasn't mentioned on the phone. They charged another $36 for a small bearing, which also wasn't mentioned on the phone. No one likes unexpected charges, especially when things are presented with the illusion of "no installation fee." I am deducting one more star for the price of their parts. The springs I got are rated at 15,000 cycles, and cost me $205 each. Had I ordered the same sized springs from somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot, they cost about $45 each. I assumed there would be some price markup to offset their "free installation," but 4x markup is extreme. Especially considering they charged me for installation in a roundabout way anyway. Overall I would say my experience was "just okay." I acknowledge that the job was done well, but next time I'll shop around for someone with more competitive prices.

Our prices do include installation by a Professionally Trained technician and while we are not the least expensive provider in the area, we are also not the highest. We do believe we offer the best products with the best warranties in the industry and will be here to honor our work. Called up Precision garage door to fix my opener. Their site states that fixing a door/opener is considered a priority rather than replacement. This why I called them initially. I also checked online and parts for the repair would cost $27 if I did it myself. Instead the technician shows up, states the gear is sheered off and the only option is to do a full replacement of the opener at a cost of $500. I declined the proposal and was charged $75 for this assessment. Ordered the parts online and will fix the opener myself. Update - The owner of Precision garage door called me up to better understand my customer experience. We chatted and he understood my concerns. I made some suggestions as well to improve future customer interactions. He also committed to refunding the $75 assessment fee. As a result of our conversation, I'm raising my rating from one to 3 stars.
