Timely, courteous, and professional worker. Quality work at a price lower than I expected. Would recommend! My garage door rails got damaged, and my garage door was stuck halfway closed. I couldn't get my car out! Precision Garage Door Twin Cities sent out a worker with a fully stocked truck in 2 days, he repaired my rails, and replaced some small hardware in about 1 hour. My garage door WORKS and is much smoother and quieter, improving my peace of mind every time I use it.

I had a new garage door installed today through Precision team; team was very professional; came on time and called me before coming in, even though it was pretty cold and rainy today; they installed the new garage door in no time and hauled away the old one; explained everything to me and were very helpful and nice! I later decided to get a new door opener through them as well; they were able to send a technician on the same day! The technician was very helpful; showed me and explained to me all the options and installed the new opener quickly as well. Then he helped me set it up and link it to my wifi. Everything went smoothly and quickly. I’m so happy with my new door and thankful for Precision team’s professionalism, flexibility and good work!

I would strongly advise anyone from using Precision to stay far away. My wife recently contacted them for a repair job and we could sense they were possibly trying to take advantage of us. The company tried to charge us almost double the reasonable price for the repair. Quoted us a minimum of $600 to have two torsion springs replaced and installed. Not to mention the $85 service charge which is waived if you end up doing business with them. But they charge you if you don’t. They were here for 5 mins, gave a ridiculous quote, made $85. It's clear that this company prioritizes squeezing every last dollar out of their customers over providing honest, fair service. They are preying on those who are less informed about garage doors and should be ashamed of their unethical business practices. We ended up calling a reputable company who actually gave a rough estimate over the phone to fix the issue, and they charged us a fraction of what this company was trying to extort from us. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I implore you to steer clear of this unscrupulous garage door repair company. They do not deserve your business.

Last Saturday, when I tried to shut my garage door it went down about a foot and then started beeping while it went back up. It had been rattling for a while, so I wasn’t overly surprised when it quit working. I called Precision Door Service and was pleasantly surprised when the could schedule me in the next day, which was a Sunday. Jameson Leach was the Servicemen that arrived and he got it quietly working again and then took the time to show me where to oil the tracks to keep it running smoothly. So far, so good. I would highly recommend this business.

We are extremely happy with the service we received from Jamison. He explained exactly what was needed and and itemized the quote. To our surprise, he was able to straighten a part, so the actual price was $125 lower. We found him to be very honest. He reviewed what he had done and showed where to lubricate to avoid future trouble. Great job overall. Highly recommend!

Garage door opener was acting funny would open and close on its own. Turns out some wiring had gone bad, Chad checked it out and repaired the wiring and seems to be working fine now he let me know what he was doing and didn’t surprise me with extra repairs and was quite honest about the problem I would highly recommend Chad Magaard for garage door repair thanks again J Kaufer

Called because garage door came off the track. Appointment booked in a timely manner. I was not going to be home, but my wife was. I was told there’s an $85 trip fee which would be waived once service was determined and that I would be notified of charge. After 30 mins, the tech completed the fix. I was not notified, but my wife was. She was handed a $400 bill (mind you, no new parts or anything were installed). When I got home hours later, I attempted to open garage door and it failed to open completely and again came off the track. I called back and tech came back out. He “fixed” it again and I was told if I really wanted to make sure this doesn’t happen again I could have them put on new rollers for added cost of course. Bottom line, this place is a RIP OFF. I recommend calling other places that will honestly and upfront tell you the costs. STAY AWAY.

I chose Precision Door because they had very high ratings. They had someone out within 1 1/2 hours. Adam Mitchell serviced our door quickly and professionally. He explained his inspection thoroughly and gave advice on future work. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them.

Found on internet search, reviews looked good so called. Appt next day on Sat. Received confirmation e-mail right away. Also sent picture of tech the next day and he called when on his way. Friendly, courteous was Jonathan the tech. Efficient, my choice as to what repair to choose was given with pictures and thorough explanation. Excellent and quick replacement of garage door opener. Spends, but price on par with other installers. Would highly recommend!

Called because my door came off the track. Appointment was booked in a timely manner. I was not home at time of service, but my wife was. No new parts, just a couple screws removed and wheel put back in. When I came home hours later, I pressed my opener and door came off track again. Tech informed and came back out and fixed again. I was told if I wanted to make sure it doesn’t happen again, I need to pay for new wheels, etc. give me a break. Not impressed at all. What a complete rip off. Steer clear

Super happy with my experience with Precision. My door died on 2/25 (Saturday) and here it is only 3/1 (Wednesday) and I have my new door already. It looks great and is super quiet. Scheduling and communicating with Precision was ridiculously easy. I hate talking on the phone and I love that they have an option to talk with them via web chat. They confirmed everything via email and text, which is perfect for me. The whole process was so simple. All of the techs / installers were on time and really friendly. Jae was our tech and he was fabulous. Mitch and Brandon did the install and they were awesome and very thorough. I'm so glad to be rid of the crusty, 25 year-old, water logged wood door. I'm really appreciative of Precision and the quick work they did and I am glad to have a go-to garage door company now! Thanks guys!

Had them out to fix a broken spring, tech inspected everything and took photos and made recommendations on issues that should be addressed. No pressure to do anything other than the repair the spring. We will use them again to get some of the other work done. Prices were reasonable.

Wow. Very impressed with the quality of service and the knowledge and expertise of our technician Jonathan. Garage door opener was not working properly. Would not shut all the way down. Had to unhook and close manually for a couple of days. No easy task. Had no idea who to call and was dreading having to install a new opener. Took a chance with Precision and couldn’t be happier. Jonathan saw the problems immediately. The sensors, even though they had worked all these years, had been installed improperly. Also the power on the motor needed to be adjusted. He then did a full inspection and explained every single thing in easy to understand detail. I had him replace the rollers, and lube the parts. Everything running smooth and much quieter now. Great job Jonathan.
