The company sent out the service man the next day which was on Sunday. They gave me his name right away and sent me a picture of him so I would recognize him. They gave me a two hour window and said he would call to give me an expected time of arrival . Jonathan did all of the above and arrived on time. I explained that I really only needed a remote and he tried everything he could to get a remote for my very old garage door opener but it just wouldn't pair with it. So I had to have a new one put in. He had 2 options that would work and explained everything to me and did a great job. He accidentally Installed a key pad for me and had no problem Removing it when I didn't want one and had apparently misunderstood him when we talked about it. He was wonderful. Got the job done and was very professional and knew his job. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for garage door work. I say 10 out of 10 for them.

Fast and courtesy, however extremely expensive. I would not use again or refer to anyone. I have had broken springs and repairs on this garage door three times in the past. The repair bills were substantially less. I understand there have been price increases and a pandemic, but was shocked with the initial repair estimate provided by Precision Garage Door service today.

Fast and friendly! Here's my experience with Precision Garage Door Twin Cities: I called them in the afternoon because one of my door cables broke and threw my whole garage door kitty wompus and stuck. They were able to come out that same day but I decided for the next day. Josh, my super friendly and knowledgeable service technician arrived right on schedule, assessed the problem, gave me a quote then fixed it. Josh went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Their crew came out the next day fir a quote. Quote was higher than expected but they walked me through the "why's" and pointed out where the original installer used cheap parts. In some areas, the original installer didn't include parts. We bought out home out of foreclosure and figured the bank went cheap, this confirmed it. I felt as though we received a great deal from knowledgeable technicians and would have them back again when needed.

69 freaking stars for this business. One of our garage door springs snapped one morning and my wife's car was stuck in the garage so she had to take an Uber to work. I googled "garage door mechanics near me" and Precision Door showed up. I called around 7pm. They were able to make me an appointment the very next morning around 10am. It's $65 for an estimate, but if you move forward with the repair then that fee is waived. The next morning, Josh Kuss, the mechanic, called me an hour early before his estimated arrival time and said he finished up his previous job a bit early and asked if he could come earlier than the estimated time they gave me. I absolutely LOVE that they do this because it saves everybody time. He showed up around 9:30am and quickly evaluated the problem. We never had this problem before so we expected our repair estimate to be upwards of $500 or $600. Little did we know we were WAY OFF. Josh quoted me $380 for the repair, said he could begin the repair right away, and it would take an hour or two to repair. I was stoked to hear I was wrong about what I thought the repair cost would be and that he wouldn't have to come back another day to initiate the repairs. He was quick, efficient, and one of my favorite things was that he was very friendly and sociable. Not awkward or a "straight to business" kind of guy. I really appreciate when service people can come into your home and make you feel like they are there not only for repairs, but to truly make your life easier through their services. I offered him a cup of coffee and we shared some small talk about dogs while he was working. I could immediately tell Josh was experienced and he wasn't going to screw around in our garage. Josh was very personable and I really appreciated that. He ended up finishing within 2 hours, told me he lubricated my door sliders and calibrated our opener. He then told me the springs were estimated to last upwards of 15 years or so. And what blew me away was that the repair comes with a 7 year warranty (which I did not have to pay extra for), but also that the warranty is transferable to others in case we ended up selling our home, since the warranty is attached to the address and not our names. I am genuinely impressed with the efficiency and professionalism that is shown by this business and its servicemen. The whole process from making the appointment to the completed repairs was incredibly quick, seemingly easy, MUCH more affordable than I expected it to be, and extremely satisfactory. Josh, if you're reading this, we appreciate the heck out of you. You've shown that you are not only good at your job but also personable and professional. You deserve a raise and I will recommend you to any one I can going forward. Thank you, Precision Door, and Josh Kuss. I was impressed with how quickly the job got scheduled and completed (an important consideration when your car is trapped in your garage). The repairman was there in only a few hours after I called. He talked me through everything that he needed to do and suggested other things that might need replacement, but didn’t pressure me in any way. I had a nice dialog with him and got a lot of useful tips, like how to make the opener have a longer lifetime, where to buy parts, etc.

I chose Precision Door MN because they were able to come next day instead of next week like another company I contacted before them. My technician was Alex W. and he was able to figure out why my garage door wouldn't open. Turns out it just had to be reset. I feel stupid but now I know. He also fixed a cable that was a bit not in place. Very knowledgeable and the bill wasn't that much either. Will definitely keep this company in mind next time something happens.
