I was impressed with how quickly the job got scheduled and completed (an important consideration when your car is trapped in your garage). The repairman was there in only a few hours after I called. He talked me through everything that he needed to do and suggested other things that might need replacement, but didn’t pressure me in any way. I had a nice dialog with him and got a lot of useful tips, like how to make the opener have a longer lifetime, where to buy parts, etc.

I chose Precision Door MN because they were able to come next day instead of next week like another company I contacted before them. My technician was Alex W. and he was able to figure out why my garage door wouldn't open. Turns out it just had to be reset. I feel stupid but now I know. He also fixed a cable that was a bit not in place. Very knowledgeable and the bill wasn't that much either. Will definitely keep this company in mind next time something happens.

Overall, this was a very positive experience. My old garage door opener decided to stop functioning on a Saturday night...just would not lift the door. I called several places, and did not hire any of them, due to big trip charges, huge hourly labor rates, and disinterested customer service people. When I hit your company, your answering service was obviously connected to you. Operator Kim could describe how your company functioned, its philosophy, how fees worked, etc. She was also warm, caring, and supportive. She assigned my case to Technician Alex. Alex arrived on time this morning (actually 10 minutes early), and was very personable, kind, and patient. I agreed to replace the opener, rather than repair the old one, but felt he gave me the time to make that decision on my own. There was no pressure at all. He was knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions about the new equipment and about the invoice. He was also efficient, and installed the new opener and the additional equipment in record time. And, it's all working very nicely right now. Initially, I was attracted to your ad that indicated you worked on weekends for no additional fees. I was calling late on Saturday, so all of your Sunday slots were filled. I decided Monday AM was good enough, since everything else seemed so "right." Would not hesitate to call you again, and plan to recommend you to others.

I was in desperate need of a new garage door but wasn't ready to buy. I was going to just have them do a temporary fix to get me by for a couple months. When the Service Tech (Ryan) came to my house he was very friendly and professional. He was honest and very up front about his thoughts. He wanted to make sure that I received quality work, part of that was him telling me that my 30 year old garage door was beyond repair and that he could not in good ethics feel good about even trying to repair it when it was in need of replacing. He spoke to his boss to see what he could do to make sure I was taken care of the right way. I have an odd size door and because that they do not stock my door in their normal stock. He really spent the time to make sure that I was taken care of and felt good about the service and products I am receiving. I would defiantly recommend this company to others and especially my service tech Ryan. Thank you Ryan for taking good care of my garage door needs.

The spring on my garage door snapped, so I started searching google for repair companies, and after looking at the reviews, called Precision. Joshua arrived within two hours of making the call and addressed my concerns about the age of the door. After his inspection, he pointed out that in addition to the spring, the cables were a little worse for wear. The quote was reasonable, and the work was done very quickly. Now my garage door is working better and is quieter than it has been since I moved in. I will definitely keep Precision in mind for any future garage door issues.

Jonathan was great. He was very thorough and honest with us about what he was doing as far as the inspection report. He explained everything that he found to be wrong with our door and then when it came time to explain the cost of the repair etc… He was very straight forward with his responses. He also explained everything to help us make our decision to just do the repair or also do a replacement. We went with a replacement for the door and the opener versus the repair based solely on the fact we have lived here for over 12 years and we were unsure of the age of the door and found out the opener was from 2007. So everything was exceeding their life expectancy. He did do the minor fix to get us by until the new door gets here so that was great and charged us nothing since we chose to go with the new door and a down payment was made.

This is the second time Devon has been out. The first time was to install a new garage opener and the second time was to replace broken springs. Installed quickly and looks great. While shopping around was being quoted 14+ weeks before delivery however Precision had the door in stock and was installed the same week as ordered.

We had Ryan come by to fix our broken garage motor mount. It was an awkward mount that didn’t have a straight forward repair but Ryan did a great job repairing it and making it work. It was great service and I appreciated his honest assessment at the end of what we were dealing with. We will definitely be using this company in the future.
