I had a great experience with Precision Garage Door today. Unfortunately, late afternoon on Saturday a spring breaks on my garage keeping it from properly opening. When searching for a company to help with the repair, I decided to call Precision as they had good reviews and now I can see why. Mike Greek (the technician) came out earlier than scheduled and was able to fix everything needed to get my garage door running again. I will definitely use them again as Mike was very good about showing me what needed repairs and helped me to understand why things I hadn’t noticed also needed attention. Thanks for coming out on a Sunday and making quick work of my broken garage door!

The new garage door functions as specified. It is very smooth and quiet. Little concerned that the door was not aligned with the door frame. Looking at it from the inside of the garage the left side of the garage door aligns with the door frame and overlaps the door frame on the right side by about 1 1/2 inches appears to be offset to the right side of the garage door opening. Essentially the left side of the garage door does not overlap the door frame. The weather stripping is the only thing that overlaps the garage door on the left side. The functionality of the door doesn't seem to be compromised because of this.

Jonathan’s attention to detail was impressive in that he addressed both concerns that we had identified but also potential problems, explaining those potential problems in a manner that was understandable as he corrected them. Alex was phenomenal. He actually showed up early, and knew exactly why the issue was. He was able to re-wire the opener in about 30 minutes, which works like a glove now. Highly recommend precision. Only complaint, I didn’t get to meet their frenchie greeter!

Fast service and polite, however the technician was out 2 weeks earlier to fix an issue (motor) and then 2 weeks later the spring broke. They said everything else was in working condition...so hopefully no more repairs.

3 stars. 8-8-22. Jameson did okay, he's a okay guy. Everything was just okay. I know I wanted a new opener. Jamesom offered me a $1k garage door opener. I told him I called before service and was quoted $599. So then we agreed on $619 for a new opener. Got rollers, bottom brackets and cables on both sides replaced. That was a different cost. I was okay with price. He had issues with the Genie opener install. Said it would be 2 hours. Took 4+ hours. Also forgot to bring my light bulb that was included in purchase. But he brought it the next day. I noticed 2 loose nuts and bolts. The 2 Hockey Stick nuts and bolts were very loose and able to turn out by hand, called him and he said yes they need to be tight. I was able to do it myself. He was very rushed so he forgot. Also left staples on my garage floor. I sweep but just would have liked it clean with service. End result was okay. Didn't love it, didn't hate it... slightly disappointed given that they have 4.9 stars on Google.

Less than good news: It took over 2 months to get the parts needed to replace our garage door due to the current supply chain problems. Good news: The installer was very polite and professional AND he took the extra time required to improve our garage door opener garage door connection so the door would open with less noise and run more reliably.

We had a misunderstanding about the quote for the springs that were replaced and my phone call was returned the next day. They had already reviewed my concerns and were ready to listen to me. After a short conversation we arrived at a very reasonable compromise and my invoice was adjusted. This is the kind of customer-centric service more businesses should learn from.
