I was out of town and my husband called and said the garage door wont open. My home warranty called Precision Door, while the parts were not covered they were great. I asked for an emergency appointment to get my husband's car out for work, and they arrived a few hours later, fixed it, explained everything, were polite, professional, and quick. They cleaned everything up, went over the warranty, showed me what to watch for in the future. Devin did a great job, I highly reccomend.

One of our torsion springs broke on Monday afternoon. I contacted Precision Door Service and the phone was answered by a live person and they scheduled us for a repair the next morning. I received a text and phone call Tuesday alerting us to the arrival time and their representative was punctual. Our technician was Devon and he exceeded our expectations. Life is short so I normally don't fill out surveys, but Precision was so good that I am making an exception. I chose Precision because they had one of the best websites but that, of course, doesn't fix my garage door. The good website, in this case, is an indication of a quality organization. All contacts with these folks were terrific. It started with the person answering my request for service call. She was very professional and they were able to schedule the repair the same day. We then received emails and calls updating us about the scheduled repair and when the technician would arrive. The technician, Jon, was very personable, he didn't try to sell me anything I did not need, and performed a quality repair. All repair documentation arrived in a timely manner. If I have garage door issues in the future I will call Precision and I can recommend them.

It's Memorial Day, and Jon came out with his expertise in showing me exactly what was wrong with my garage door and what it would cost to fix it. In our discussion I asked about a new garage door because of all that needed to be repaired on the existing (15 years old), and we decided it was best to replace. I had told him my garage door opener light didn't work, he replaced two bulbs and the lights now work (I had replaced them before,but was obviously doing something wrong). Jon did not need to do this, but went out of his way to help. Also, to my surprise, my new garage door will be installed within two days; "Heads up to Precision" Thank you.

Lucky for us that Precision services 7 days a week, because our inopportune need happened on Saturday of Memorial weekend when my husband in haste backed our SUV out of the garage with the rear door open! Within a few hours, Precision sent a technician to fix the old wooden garage door. Jon, the technician, obviously had the experience and skill needed to deal not only with the off kilter door and disconnected cable, but also the bent screw plate on one side, needing to saw off at least one bolt for replacement. He tightened all bolts and screws throughout the door, showing me where they were loose from years of use, and politely pointed out the deteriorating wood around the screws from moisture and time. With obvious attention to detail, checking and re-checking to ensure that the repair was done right, Jon's experience with a variety of doors and issues was obvious in that he was able to analyze and get right to the fix. He also came prepared with a variety of springs and nuts and bolts, so there was no returning to the shop for parts. Jon also handled my queries about replacement door features, so I feel I understand the advantage of the newer doors. It was re-assuring to have not only a half hour advance call before the technician's arrival, but also a text announcing his enroute. I also received a before-arrival email showing me the technician's photo with a little bio, which was a re-assurance of the right person's arrival. The charge was reasonable, and there was no extra weekend charge. Before I called the company, I read several positive reviews about them from others. This helped me make the call. I also definitely would recommend this company for reliability & service.

All aspects of working with the company was first rate. Scheduling was very easy and I was given what the standard costs of parts and repairs would be so that I had an idea of what the repair might cost. The technician, Devon, who did the repair, emailed ahead of arriving (at the beginning of the time window we were given) and did a really good job of explaining everything that he said would need to be repaired before providing the detailed quote. He finished the work very quickly and took time to answer all the questions I had about both what might have caused the parts that he replaced to fail and what the warranty is on the parts he installed. I noticed that the replacement cables were heavier gauge than those they replaced and the torsion spring was powder coated, unlike the original, so I think the parts were better than what we had before. Thanks for a great job.

Jason was great however it would of cost me $736 for me to replace my unit so I paid the service fee and went down to Menards and paid $40 and replaced it my self. Recommend calling if you are only willing to buy there parts.
