A young man very qualified for his work arrived at my home at 8:00 this morning to fix my garage door. He was prompt, friendly, and ready to go to work. I noticed how he seemed to enjoy his work. He gave me an estimate as what it would cost to complete what needed to be done and went to work. When the job was completed he explained what was done and I could see that he made an improvement in how the door opener looked and certainly how it worked! I'd have Ian back anytime my garage door or opener needed work.

I would like to say, Your Tech Ian was excellent. He called before he was to arrive as noted by company. He explained what was needed to be repaired. He told me the cost and was courteous and very professional. He offered a discount because of the high cost of the repair and was polite when I was not able to say go ahead with the project. He told me the company would be their if I wanted to go ahead with this. Thanks. Mike B.

Spring broke yesterday. We called this morning, and Jason was at the house within one hour. He checked out the door, did a thorough review of the work needed and the cost; and did not try to sell any unneeded work. He got to work quickly and was done within the time promised. The work was excellent, Jason was friendly and polite and knew what he was doing. Will use Precision again.

5 Star rating - It was very reassuring to call for service as door down & unable to lift up & I needed to be in for cataract surgery by 8:00 AM next morning. Technician came promptly, called stating he was on his way. He was very pleasant, explained exactly what he was doing, fixed it, showed us parts replaced, etc. Very satisfied with the service and efficient, pleasant young technician.

My rating today is ?????????? Stars.....so far ???? Jon Holton called me on Saturday morning, and said he would be here in an hour. Awesome! I had a window time frame of 8:00 - 10:00 am on Saturday. He was punctual and professional . Jon Holton was aware of what repair was needed, and it was fixed( one roller had come off track on one side of the garage.) There were a few other things that he noticed, and I also had a concern about them as well. He also secured something else a lot better than it was originally (where the end of the arm of the operator, is bolted into the garage door ). Well, long story short, so.... after asking Jon a few more questions, I decided to have a completely new garage door and operator installed. He was knowledgeable about the product, and explained to me about the type of door, and operator I would be purchasing. He also informed about the time it would take to do this, and how many employees they would have to completely install the door, operator, and keypad. Therefore, I was appreciative of the information that he gave me regarding the type of garage door, brand and type of operator, and the garage door opener/remote/keypad, that would be installed for me. Everything is done in one day. Education, communication and honesty are important. Thank you !

While I was at Home Depot a couple of weeks ago I met Tom, the owner of Precision Door Service. I was closing on my townhouse in a couple of weeks and we talked about garage door openers. Tom was very friendly and more than happy to take the time to speak with me and answer all my questions. I talked to the sellers about the garage door opener at closing. They said it was the original, which means over 15 years old. The garage door opener was extremely noisy and the chain drive was over tight. With the current condition of the existing garage door opener and wanting a MyQ compatible garage door opener, I called PDS. To my surprise, I was about to get a next day appointment. The technician, Iam, arrived right on time. Ian got right to work and checked everything out. In addition to the new opener, Ian found some other items that needed to be addressed and presented me with 3 different quote. Each quote listed (1) Everything, (2) Opener and items that needed to be replaced now for safe and proper operation and some other items that would become a problem soon, (3) Opener and just the items that needed to be replaced right now. He didn't just say these items needed to be replaced, he actually showed me each issue and explained it in great detail. I opted for the first quote as I wanted everything to be in the best condition possible.The new opener was installed and all the issues taken care of in a short period of time. Ian was a pleasure to work with and when he left everything was in perfect condition. The garage door opener and garage door are now much quieter. I want to mention that the openers PDS installs are not the same models you can buy in the big box stores, they are a higher quality. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service to anyone who needs a new garage door opener, new garage door or service of an existing opener or door.

I consider it a privilege to be able to share some thoughts about this very, very fine gentleman - Ian - what and how he accomplished the required repair, which consisted of replacing the backup, battery-operated garage door opener device on the side of the garage door frame. We received an email with his profile while he was enroute. From a security standpoint, this is a very wise - and timely - procedure, so that the customer knows who is coming. He called while enroute to predict how long it would take, and he hit it on the head!!!! He knew exactly what to do, how to do it, and how to share information for future reference that was very valuable. He was reaching out to provide good - and complete - information to us as customers. He really knows his business, and is excited to share it with anyone interested, or who should be interested!! Consider yourselves fortunate to have this ambassador of professional customer service on your team. I have been in sales and marketing for 60 years, and this is one of the most well-versed and competent service providers I have met. All my neighbors are going to know about him, too :)! Also...the lady to whom I spoke on Saturday about your ad on Google was also excellent. And...we had some fun in the process! To sum up: From initial inquiry to completed repair, this was a 5-star experience across the board.

The rep was very competent and courteous. I would recommend less aftershave. I have an extreme reaction to perfumes, aftershaves, etc. my throat gets irate do and I start to cough. Not his problem, mine but nonetheless just thought I would mention it. Also, last fall Tom came to fix the cables on my door, told me my door was in bad shape and said a comparable door would cost about $850. Imagine my surprise to order a new one today for $1300+. It is what it is. I'm sure my new door will be fabulous. Just sayin.
