I broke the spring on one of my garage doors. I called Precision Garage doors in the late morning and had a service technicion here a few hours later. The technicion, Alex Williamson, did an assessment of all three garage doors and offered a common sense repair of the broken spring and additional needed bearings. Repair was complete within an hour. Excellent job. Highly recommended.

Alex showed up and I had a little issue with getting the garage door open with a broken spring. It was the only access to get in the garage. He didn't hesitate and found a way to get the door open . I was given a couple options and I chose just to have the springs replaced. Alex was very professional and had my garage door in working condition in a very reasonable time. My first thought was to repair it myself. Looking up what the parts were going to cost and the extra tools needed for the job plus my time. It was a easy decision to call a professional. Plus this was on Labor day.

We had two new garage door openers installed by Alex. The whole process was excellent. Scheduling was easy (the dispatcher was able to get me an appointment on the same day) and the technician Alex was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, on time and did a fantastic job with the installation. He accommodated us throughout the whole process and took time to explain the new device and its functions. I am very happy with this company and can fully recommend it.

Precision team do deserve the high ratings they have I have my opener keeps opening by itself, i called Alex from Precision showed in the same day at the time they said, took one hour of diagnostics, reset the codes, explained the actions he will perform, and the next action by costs in case problem persists, their cost for repair is very fair, i do recommend them

Called because my door came off the track. Appointment was booked in a timely manner. I was not home at time of service, but my wife was. After 30 minutes, the service was supposedly completed and my wife was informed and given a $400 bill. Oh, but they waived the $85 trip fee. Give me a break. No new parts, just a couple screws removed and wheel put back in. When I came home hours later, I pressed my opener and door came off track again. Tech informed and came back out and fixed again. I was told if I wanted to make sure it doesn’t happen again, I need to pay for new wheels, etc. give me a break. Not impressed at all. What a complete rip off. Steer clear

Precision OGDS was recommended to me by a friend who had recently had work done at his home by them. Everything he told me about the service he received was true. 1. Easy to schedule. 2. Arrived on time. Was scheduled to arrive between 8am-10am. I received a courtesy call at 7:30am on the day we were scheduled. The tech was there at 8:15am. Diagnosed the issue I'd been having for a year. Did NOT try to up sell me. Laid out 2 options and gave me quotes on both. 3. Replaced my old opener, wall pads & electronic eyes as requested. 4. The work was completed at 9:20am. 5. Alex explained the openers features, his companies and the manufactures warranties. Alex displayed professionalism, courtesy and common sense in his explanation's regarding my questions. 6. Cleaned up and disposed of old opener track and parts. Precision Garage Door's video ad creates a certain set of expectations: technicians with superior diagnostic capability, trucks fully stocked with high quality parts, problems resolved on the spot. That was exactly my experience with my tech, Alex. I will also add that he was on time, completed the job in the time he had estimated, in addition to making the repairs, he checked, adjusted and lubed my door, and he picked up after himself, leaving my garage as clean as if he was never there. My only complaint, and this is not on Alex, is that their bill included a $14 fuel surcharge--with gas prices below $3/gallon and still falling, it is time for fuel surcharges to go away.

The lady who took my call and scheduled the appointment was not even close to the bid when the technician arrived. I even said so worst case it would cost this amount and she said yes. It was almost three times the cost. Turns out she quoted me one spring and the cheapest spring. I asked if they would need to replace both she said no. My technician said he would only do both. Then I was stuck paying $85 service call for them to do nothing or three times the initial quoted cost. I would shop around and choose a company that does not lie to you to get the technician out there. Or plan on whatever they quote you it will be triple the cost.

We realize the importance of over-the-phone price estimation, however it is difficult to diagnose or know the safety and size requirements of each garage door issue before arriving on-site. We try to generalize, which does not always work out and in this case it seems the latter. Our team takes these comments seriously and we have heard you.
