Found a coupon on Angie’s List for them. A spring broke on my door this morning. Precision came out within a few hours. The tech, Devon, was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and didn’t try to oversell me. Pricing was competitive with other services. The work was done quickly and he stuck around to test everything and make it sure worked before he left. Would definitely recommend this company.

Eli Traaseth was the technician assigned to fix our door. Not only did Eli fix the problem by replacing the spring, he was very knowledgeable of the setup and found a couple more components that needed repair. He didn't try to play the salesman game, he told me what I needed to hear. He replaced both springs, replaced the bearing kit, and threw in a surge protector. The door opens and closes like a beaut, within 24 hours of the issue occurring! Very well done Eli!!

I called mid-morning and a technician was scheduled to come between 2:00 and 4:00. At around 1:15 I received a call from Devon saying that he could come at 1:45 if that was okay. He arrived at 1:47, completed replacement of springs and other parts and had the door working within an hour. He was a pleasure to watch doing his job. I was impressed with his professionalism and good manners. If I had a business I’d hope to hire talented people with his work ethic.

My garage door won't stay closed and it has a horrible scratchy noise at the end of the closure. I called Precision Door Service and within an hour a technician was here. Unbelievable service! Jason listened to me explain the issue and immediately went to work to solve the problem. He was courteous and professional. He gave me some tips for the future as the motor is quite old. I will always call Precision. They keep a record of all the work they have done. I couldn't be more satisfied with their workmanship and, especially, their customer service.

Precision Door Service was the only garage door repair company in the Twin City metro area that was open for service calls on Memorial Day weekend 2020. I called Sunday morning with a repair request and had a technician to my home by 5:00 pm that day. Eli Traaseth was the technician and he did a thorough and high quality job. We needed our garage door springs repaired/removed. He also installed new door rollers and vertical tracks, as our existing door was in need of service. I was very happy with the service that Eli and Precision Door Service provided. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

I failed to do my homework, so I deserved to pay at least twice for the repair that was done. I was charged $480 (includes a $25 discount for seniors) to replace the tracks on my garage door. I thought at the time, it was high but was under a bit of a time constraint. Afterwards, I researched and discovered the same replacement averages about $200 to $250. The repairman was here for all of an hour, spent about 35 actual minutes on the replacement of the track on both sides of the door. So, shame on me for failure to do the proper research I usually do before getting a project done and shame on me for not getting more than 1 quote.

I Google garage door repairs. Precision was the closest to my house. Called and the girl that answered was so kind. When I asked if I could still get repairs yet still this evening, she said oh yes. I'll get the needed information, and checked availability time for service. Within minutes she had a time frame for repairs. 4pm to 6pm. He called let me know he was 15- 20min away. I would definitely recommend Precision garage door service.

Eli was great! Courteous, professional, respectful, knowledgeable, prompt. Fixed what was wrong, left alone what was working. Made some suggestions but wasn’t pushy about extra products or services, and the garage door that broke yesterday now works like a dream. Most important: As a single female homeowner, I get a lot of condescension from service and repair people. But Eli talked to ME, not my boyfriend (who was there too), and was informative without calling my intelligence into question.
