I wanted to update my previous review to 5 stars from 1 star. Owner takes his business seriously and reached out to work things out. I have never had a business take the time to make their customers happy as much as Tom, the owner. The cables for my garage door open came off releasing the tension in tension bar. All tech had to do was reset tension bar and reconnect cables. No material provided judt labor. $385 and 20 minutes later he had job done. Way over priced...find a more reasonable company

Installed quickly and looks great. While shopping around was being quoted 14+ weeks before delivery however Precision had the door in stock and was installed the same week as ordered.

We had Ryan come by to fix our broken garage motor mount. It was an awkward mount that didn’t have a straight forward repair but Ryan did a great job repairing it and making it work. It was great service and I appreciated his honest assessment at the end of what we were dealing with. We will definitely be using this company in the future.

Our neighbor recommended Josh. She had her garage door repaired a couple months ago and raved about him and your service. I left the hatch on my car up and closed the door on it. Not a good outcome. It was half up or half down…depending on your outlook. Called Precision, they responded the same day and Josh was the guy. So personable and knowledgeable. Fixed door in no time. I needed someone to come and close my overhead garage door which had gotten stuck open. They were in St Paul where I lived and could come in 1-3 hours. They quickly solved my initial problem and then did a checkup and made some adjustments for a more quiet opening and closing. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Precision. They are my go-to when I have issues with my garage doors. They arrive on time and are very professional. We had an issue with our garage door (that was installed by Precision) this weekend and they came and fixed the issue right away. I am very impressed by everyone who handled my call from the admin/receptionist person who took my call. I wish I remembered her name. She was such a sweetheart and kept calm which kept me calm. We called Precision because the garage door stopped working. Precision was at my home the same day. The technician was professional and he expertly made the necessary repairs (in 92° heat). The procedure and prices were explained ahead of time.

Our garage door was down and could not be opened even manually. Precision techs Ryan (trainer) and Rashawn (trainee) determined it was a broken plastic spool attached to the cable pulley. Ryan stated this was and older homeowner installed type of system and they did not carry parts for it and were not authorized to work on it because of it's age. He explained how we could fix it and get it operational ourselves. They then disconnected the cable system to allow the door to be opened manually (so we could at least get our cars out). Being they could not repair it he Ryan said there would be No Charge! (even though there was supposed to be a $65 service/inspection fee). As they were about to leave, we decided to have them install the newer type of torsion/spring/cable lift system. They did so in about an hour and did a meticulous job of installation and instructions of use. There was absolutely NO attempt to "upsell" any service (in fact we had to ask as they were about to drive off). We will definitley use Precision Garage Door in the future and they would be our first recommendation to anyone. Ryan and Rashawn did a great job of representing their company.

I found Precision on Angi’s list. Precision provided a reasonable quote and available the next morning to repair my broken garage door spring. Ryan was the technician and he was prompt, courteous and professional. He knew his product, made the repairs quickly and took his time to review all the upkeep and self maintenance I could perform to avoid future problems.
