Chad came out this morning to install a new garage opener and tuned up the garage door. I truly appreciate your company and Chads integrity and honesty while checking over the door. He never tried to sell us something we did not need and we are even getting a partial refund due to parts he told us that did not need to be replaced. We called Precision Garage Door Service knowing we had a lot wrong with our garage door. Chuck was able to educate us why there was so much wear and tear on our garage door and why a lot of the parts of our door were rusted and over worked. In addition to the age and wear tear, our garage door opener stopped working. Chuck helped us understand what we needed to get done today versus what could get done in the future as well as a breakdown of price and services. He was done within a few hours and our garage door is working perfectly and silently!

I called Precision because they are an advertiser on the Garage Logic podcast. My 18'X8' doors' cable came off the jackshaft pulley on one side and the door was in danger of coming loose completely. I called precision at about 10:30 on Saturday morning and by 1:30 that same day, my technician Brian came to my house to get me fixed up. Prior to his arrival, I received a text from Brian / Precision with his picture on it, that was a nice touch. Brian was an awesome technician (and a GL'er) and took care of a decently long list of some minor and some not so minor issues I had with my door and opener. I have been a construction project manager for 36 years and know good service and capable people when I see them, and Precision has it all going on! Chad showed up on time and was able to complete the job (replace garage door opener, cables and springs) in about two hours. That included a trip back to the shop (which Soucheray says you guys rarely need to do) because I wanted the fancy opener that he wasn't carrying. Very impressive!

The door installing crew was very professional, courteous and pleasant and explained almost everything to us. (We did not ask them to help us with the phone app and we are having trouble getting that set up). What sold me on Precision was the representative who answered the phone when I called for information.

Last night my wife and son came in for the afternoon, and not a minute after the garage door close we heard a loud metallic *bang*. Went out to take a look and sure enough our garage door spring had blown itself apart. After a quick search and a 5 minute call, the appointment was made for the next morning. Gregg showed up shortly after 8 as promised, looked at our situation and made some recommendations. Overall the door was in good shape, but he showed me where a cable was frayed, 7 of 10nrollers were frozen or stiff, some adjustments needed on the opener, and the end bearings while ok didnt have much life in them. A quick discussion with my wife and an hour of Gregg's handy work and our door is now quieter than ever and operating as good as new. While I'm not exactly looking forward to it, I'll definitely be having Gregg back out to service our other garage door.

Had a garage door that appeared to be binding because of the unusual noise made when opening and closing. Greg came out the same day and quickly assessed and corrected the problem in just a few minutes with no charge. Precision has always been very reliable and always provided the best service one would expect. Definitely recommended for new garage doors or correcting problems for existing doors.
