I called Precision Door Mn around 9am. A technician named Jon arrived around 10:30 am. He first explained the choices and costs. Then he went to work. He was obviously skilled and efficient. He wasted no time. When he finished he answered my questions. At all times he was professional and courteous. The cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Jon and Precision Door Mn.

I would like to say, Your Tech Ian was excellent. He called before he was to arrive as noted by company. He explained what was needed to be repaired. He told me the cost and was courteous and very professional. He offered a discount because of the high cost of the repair and was polite when I was not able to say go ahead with the project. Spring broke yesterday. We called this morning, and Jason was at the house within one hour. He checked out the door, did a thorough review of the work needed and the cost; and did not try to sell any unneeded work. He got to work quickly and was done within the time promised. The work was excellent, Jason was friendly and polite and knew what he was doing. Will use Precision again.

My rating today is ?????????? Stars.....so far ???? Jon Holton called me on Saturday morning, and said he would be here in an hour. Awesome! I had a window time frame of 8:00 - 10:00 am on Saturday. He was punctual and professional . Jon Holton was aware of what repair was needed, and it was fixed( one roller had come off track on one side of the garage.) There were a few other things that he noticed, and I also had a concern about them as well. He also secured something else a lot better than it was originally (where the end of the arm of the operator, is bolted into the garage door ). Well, long story short, so.... after asking Jon a few more questions, I decided to have a completely new garage door and operator installed. He was knowledgeable about the product, and explained to me about the type of door, and operator I would be purchasing. He also informed about the time it would take to do this, and how many employees they would have to completely install the door, operator, and keypad. Therefore, I was appreciative of the information that he gave me regarding the type of garage door, brand and type of operator, and the garage door opener/remote/keypad, that would be installed for me. Everything is done in one day. Education, communication and honesty are important. Thank you !

I consider it a privilege to be able to share some thoughts about this very, very fine gentleman - Ian - what and how he accomplished the required repair, which consisted of replacing the backup, battery-operated garage door opener device on the side of the garage door frame. We received an email with his profile while he was enroute. From a security standpoint, this is a very wise - and timely - procedure, so that the customer knows who is coming. He called while enroute to predict how long it would take, and he hit it on the head!!!! He knew exactly what to do, how to do it, and how to share information for future reference that was very valuable. He was reaching out to provide good - and complete - information to us as customers. He really knows his business, and is excited to share it with anyone interested, or who should be interested!! Consider yourselves fortunate to have this ambassador of professional customer service on your team. I have been in sales and marketing for 60 years, and this is one of the most well-versed and competent service providers I have met. All my neighbors are going to know about him, too :)! Also...the lady to whom I spoke on Saturday about your ad on Google was also excellent. And...we had some fun in the process! To sum up: From initial inquiry to completed repair, this was a 5-star experience across the board.

Quick response and the tech, Devon was great. But the price for the 25 minute repair was ridiculously high. $160 for two 2 cables and 2 brackets - at Home Depot $20 $50 labor for lube & tune - sprayed door hinges that took 30 seconds $200 labor to reset door and rewind cables - took 25 minutes including setup & cleanup So as a retiree I just paid the tech over $500 per hour to fix my door and that's just not right. I know there's some experience involved here but still? What ever happened to simple, fair time & material pricing? Sorry but can't justify calling you again.

Jason was on time and extremely friendly. He explained the door repair options clearly and completed the replacement of both springs, wires and lower brackets very quickly. Highly recommend Precision Overhead Door Service!! First, having an actual person answer the phone during off hours was great. I had an appointment scheduled right away and a few hours later Devon was at the door. Devon was great. He inspected everything and went over what was needed and explained (and showed) why. We were beyond thrilled with the service of Jason S., on behalf of Precision. He greeted us professionally and politely. He provided honest estimates and recommendations. We loved that we received a picture and short bio of the technician coming to our house, prior to his arrival. This allowed us to feel safe and trust the service we would be receiving. We initially had the company out to give an estimate on repairs or possible replacement. We ultimately went with the full package replacement of opener, springs, rollers, eyes, remotes. The limited lifetime warranty played a key factor in our decision making. We would highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of MN.
